Well I took my dress to the seamstress today and she sorted out the bustle... it is staying with her now till the day before the wedding and she is arranging to get it all steamed for me. We checked the new shoes and are pretty sure that with the hoop in the right place and once all the layers of netting have been steamed flat that the length will be fine! Phew!
If you are in Hertfordshire and need an alterations lady (or even a dressmaker) then she is top of my list - such a lovely lady!
I was worried that it wouldn't fit me, we struggled to do it up in November... but it seems that the weight has dropped off and I am now under instructions not to lose any more!!! Need to tone up the arms though!
My sister was sneakily taking pictures of me when I wasn't looking so here you go!!! Please excuse the lack of make-up and rather boring hair!!!
And just because he is the loveliest little godson anyone could want, and slept through the entire fitting... my nephew... not looking too impressed with Nanny!!!
