Had my first dress fitting today and so relieved that my dress still fits and I still love it. The straps need adjusting slightly and the dressmaker is putting a wee hook on the back so I can make it up into a bustle for dancing at night.

And the sweetest thing happened. The shop owner produced a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me that my OH had dropped off earlier in the morning. He earned so many brownie points with that one!
