I've hurt myself. Again.

kharv, 3 May, 2013 at 10:54 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 34

Seriously. What the fucky is wrong with me?! I'm a bloody liability.

Just nipped to the shops to get a photo frame for reception at work and while wandering back started to feel a pain in my left shoulder blade area. Feels a bit like a trapped nerve although god knows how the hell I've done that.

So am now trying to go about my day while occasionally wincing and yepling in pain when I put it in the wrong position.

As you were.

You need wrapping up in cotton wool Kharv! Hope the pain buggers off soon, if not use alcohol to numb it (by drinking, not by bathing in gin).

    Gin, as always, will help.

Seriously though, poor you and I hope it eases it'self off over the day.

Ouch. You will now have to drink even more at the wedding this weekend, this will help it heal!

Wedding is next weekend Mrs Imp but I do have the Big Reunion tomorrow so plenty of alcohol will be consumed!

I shall definitely attempt to ease the pain with gin this evening.

Hahahahaha, Bea! That made me snort.

People at work think it's a trapped nerve as I now have slight pins and needles in my left hand and the hand feels a bit numb.

Brilliant. Am I the only person in the world who can trap a nerve just from walking down the street?

Nope. Honestly, it's not that. Pharmacist is sure it's a trapped nerve as my left hand is numb and has pins and needles. Have ibruprofen and paracetamol to take at the same time and instructions to go to the docs if the pins and needles don't subside over the next day or so.

I spent three months on crutches after jumping on a measuring jug and severing a vein in my foot- I still have the bloodied shard that was removed from my foot (too much?)

No was a total accident. Was quite serious at the time,999 blue flashing lights and lots if excellent painkillers. It was my best friends fault and I still make her feel guilty about it now 'I nearly died' blah blah.

I feel much better thanks! I slept on a hot water bottle on Friday night and it felt a bit better Saturday. Is pretty much gone now.

You'll all be pleased to know that I hurt my thumb 2 weeks ago and that's still really painful, though.
