June 2012 bride - too soon to order dress?

I bought mine in September for July 2012!

I ordered mine in august for our wedding in oct this year. anxiously awaiting phone call to say its arrived at the shop(which they say should be anytime soon as they said it was approx 6month from order to delivery) x

Thats fine as long as you feel like its the 1,I started paying for mine in September 2010 and finish this month,it will then be ordered in which will take 6months and we are getting married 25th August 2012!!

Lol weren't you scared you may see something else afterwards and regret it? I don't really know what the process is with payments etc, so if i changed my mind it wouldn't be so bad losing £100 or something

I'm getting married May 2012 and I'm hoping to put a deposit down on a dress this weekend...If I waited until the new range came out end of October I will be pushed for time so the way I see it is nothing else will come out in the meantime & I've been to alot of shops & tried on a lot of dresses!

I have to decide between 3 so my mum is coming with me Once I have chosen I will not look at any more...

I had originally tried on 'the one', thought it was too early & fast forward a year & it was discontinued!

So I got another 'the one' from the same designer - all i liked about the first & more....but sometimes I still think about the first one.

What I got asked was - would you be gutted if it got discontinued? I knew I would be!

I ordered mine Aug 2009 - wedding wasn't even booked until Apr 2010! Wedding is June 2011 - Can't wait!!!!!!!!! xx

You may look at other dresses and wonder, but then you remember how you felt when you wore 'the one' and how it made you feel....

Thanks girls, feeling a bit more comfortable with the idea now! I've got a few weeks to decide so gives me time to make sure i've not missed anything because as sr3693 says, i don't want to leave it as late as October for the new range to come out xx

Ha no it's Georgina Scott bridal. Wow you must be in love if you're thinking that far ahead! Have they got 20% off too? I'm worried now with the VAT that the cost of our venue is going to increase and this isn't something we accounted for so thinking the cash would come in handy for that. It is lovely though I do keep thinking about it and desperate to go and try it on again! xx

As long as it is definately the one id say go for it, i got mine last week and my wedding is may 2012.
