Its so exciting. I cant wait for the day to be here.

Hello, I just need to:

Write place cards

get son fitted for his suit

compile music for DJ

Paint my wishing well

make signs for flip flop basket and freshen up box,

Have final meet with venue,

decide what I am wearing on my head (nothing at this rate)!

get gifts for Mum and Dad, Haven't a clue what to get but don't want flowers.

pay final Bills

Everything seems to be coming together now, left to do is;

• holiday clothes
• sons wedding shoes

Not much to do really, we fly in 5 weeks, did I say im sooooooooooo excited ?

Eeeek I am exactly one month today!!

List is getting smaller which is good:

-Ordered table plan, names and postbox so waiting for that

-Got to pay for everything!!

-Make CD's for ceremony

-Pack for honeymoon

Hello!

Not long now. We get married on 30th June. Went past our reception venue on Sunday evening with a view to popping in but it was all shut up! Bit worrying :-(

Need to find some 'cadbury's' purple ties for the groom's men, a suit for our 2 ushers and best man.

Jewellery for bridesmaids

Gifts for parents - which we hadn't even included in our original budget

I am sure there should be more too but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Have you all had your hen do's yet?

Think we have done about as much as we can just now, really just meetings with suppliers to finalise things. got favours to make up, going today to try my dress on after alterations and fingers crossed- bring it homw with me ?

I must get on to the registrar to book our final appointments

Looks like everyone's organised! Not much for us to do either, except pay for things.

I can't quite believe I'm getting married a month tomorrow! Where have these last 18 months of planning gone!?

Me & H2B had a bank holiday wedding blitz so now we've only got to;

Compile play list for DJ, however it won't need to be very long as we're having a band for most of the night.

Finish groom's box

Buy my jewellery

Buy gifts

Buy FG baskets and shoes

Make table plan and finalise and print other stationary

Buy confetti and bags

Decorate post box

Paint champagne glasses for bridal party

Vases and sweets for candy buffet

We've paid most of our suppliers in full now, just need to pay the balance to our TOG and send him our shot list.

Yep ,we too are at the bill paying stage.

Paid off flowers, chair covers, church, honeymoon and cake last week also bought underwear finally.

This week it is venue and car and then I think we are all paid.

Left to do;

Make favour boxes

Print off order of service

Decide on DJ music

Finish table plan (and hope no-one else drops out)

Buy gifts for best man and parents - if only OH can think of something to buy.

Got my final dress fitting on Sat - hoping it still fits!

I have also got to buy OH something for the day but as his bday is only 6 days after the wedding trying to think of two things is impossible!

25 days to go - time really is flying.

My to do list is finally going down! Although I seem to have left the longest tasks until last ? feeling excited and nervous now,just want the day to come!

Attach the ribbon and mini picture frame to my bouquet

Arrange music on OH's Ipod for background music

Make the table plan

Final talk with all suppliers and pay

Underwear and necklace for me

Put together OODs

Put together the Guest Picture Frame (Guest book)

Honeymoon clothes

I am sure there are hundreds of other things I have forgotten! A lot of the things can't be done until the week before when we are in Kent, so I am not thinking of those tasks at the moment lol.

Worried now about reception venue! We haven't been to see the pub landlord for a good 6 months and had no contact with him. Tried to pop in Sunday night for a look around and try to plan the layout but pub was closed (not unusual but they didn't have the usual sign outside). Decided to ring him today - I only have on number for him and it is not recognised any more! He has never told me that his number changed. I have just sent him an email but now panicking... What if the pub has gone bust?!

My fears have come true - had an email last night after I chased to confirm the pub where we are having our reception has been closed down and they can no longer cater for our wedding. Great! ☹️

I read your thread, I would be in panic stations by now! Have you rung the hotel to get a quicker answer? Or have any back up ideas of where to go?

One month to go, scary!

Made the final payment yesterday and confirmed all the details of the day, timings, etc. It now feels like we could turn up tomorrow and get married without any worries, eeek!

I still have to:

Confirm the rooms at the hotel I’ll be at the night before

Return my ceremony wording to the registrar

Make name cards

Book cab for airport

Pack for honeymoon

Then that's it!

Scary but exciting ?

Where in Kent are you getting married (if you don't mind me asking?). We might be getting married in the same place on the same weekend.....?!

I can't believe that they didn't contact you, that's disgraceful. Imagine what could have happened if you hadn't decided to check on them....??

However - I'm sure that there must be plenty of pub landlords more than happy for you to host your reception in their pub. You never know, the next place might be better than the first - clouds/silver linings/etc ?.

Cant believe how fast the time is flying in, think my ticker needs to freeze for a few days lol finally got seating plan done and appointments arranged for some of the suppliers. Hope everyone is getting on well with stuff still to do ?

Has anyone else's lists shrunk in the last week, because mine hasn't!!

I'm sitting here eating pringles - definitely not the way forward with a month to go!!!

I feel so guilty today. I've had a chocolate mousse and a packet of crisps. I've still got a couple more pounds to lose by next wednesday for my second fitting! EeeeeK!

How's everyone getting on? We managed to sort a new reception venue - phew! Luckily the hotel I had provisionally booked hadn't booked anyone else in and just happened to be available. We have upgraded slightly which is good and we are both really happy with it.

I am starting to stress now though and get really nervous about all the attention being on me. Anyone else getting stage fright?

Yay well done helen, I was wondering what was happening with you, glad you've got your venue sorted. I have stage fright too, I'm hoping I'll be too deliriously happy to care that people are staring at me!

Mine doesn't seem to be ? I just can't seem to notivate myself to finish the last few bits. I'm really busy with work too so that doesn't help.

I know what you mean, I lost motivation for about two weeks then had a sudden panic plus I actually got some help with some of it from the OH ?

I woke up this morning and had an OMG am getting married next weekend moment lol got final appointment with photographer tomorrow night, then thats another thing taken care off ?
