June Brides in here!

I think they are a lot of 2nd June brides so there will be quite a few this weekend!!

I'm the 8th, 10 days!!!

Eek!!! Can't believe there's only 11 days to go!!

Main things left for me to do is table plan and other stationary bits and bobs which my lovely dad is doing for me this week.

I still don't have any jewellery but sorting that this week.

My make up trial's on Thursday.

Still need wedding night undies.

Still need to get some bits for the honeymoon and pack.

I'm also a bit frustrated as I normally have quite good skin and this week I have had a sudden outbreak of blotchy skin! It's so frustrating and hope it clears up for next week. I'm drinking loads of water and green tea and my skincare and diet hasn't changed. I don't feel too stressed either so not sure why it's like it is all of a sudden!

I had a facial nearly 2 weeks ago so not sure if that's affected it?

Any advice or tips to help me get it back to how it was?

Stop stressing about them, that makes it worse!! I know quite a few ladies recommended sudocrem so I went out and bought myself a tub as I have had a few breakouts too recently. I put it on at night and it's seemed to help, it's not an overnight cure though so get some ASAP

Thanks Pinky! I've actually got some Sudocrem already so I'll slap some of that on before bed.

I can now offically say we have now taken care of everything woohooo everything paid off, all appointments complete now to chill ?

Well I am finishing work in 10 minutes!

I then just have to go home and do one last gym session.

I then have to make sure everything is ready for the trip up north. Picking our cake up tomorrow morning and hoping it survives the journey up in the car.

Yesterday my friend and her partner who had previously declined our invite asked if she could now come as she was supposed to be moving house at the weekend and it fell through. We have added her and paid the venue the extra as I want them there but it has meant re-doing table plan, chair cover numbers etc - a good stress though.

I can't believe finally after being engaged for 2.5 years that I am now getting married in 72 hours!

Hi girls, sorry I haven't been around much - our internet has been really bad at home ☹️

I am absolutely exhausted at the moment, have had hardly any sleep this week. Trying to do last few bits. We are traveling down to Kent on friday, so evrything needs to be packed and done by thursday night.

Then next week we have the bits that can't be done till the week before.

I am getting VERY excited!

I just wish my bridesmaids would stop stressing me!!!

9 DAYS B!!! ?

I'm pretty organised I think, not much left to do at all. Waiting for my last few bits of stationary to arrive *fingers crossed* this week and my cake toppers a la Mrs C which are on their way as we speak.

We are having a few of his boys stopping the night before with him so my only job really is to tidy the house a bit but can do that the day before. I'm just relaxing and enjoying the next few days now.

How is everyone else feeling??

Am feeling quite calm, can't believe after 2 years of planning I only have a few days left to wait !! My sister and her family travel up tomorrow, can't wait to c them all and show her all the bits and pieces ?

Its really exciting isnt it?! I can't believe its nearly here! ?

I still have until the end of June but I am at the point of almost not being sure I can go ahead with it now. If it was tomorrow I don't think I could go through with it.

I am getting upset and tearful all the time, everything about my partner is getting on my nerves, I cringe when anyone mentions the wedding or him being my husband. I have my hen night tomorrow and am not even looking forward to that but everyone else seems to be. I just keep thinking I wish it was all over now.

Does or has anyone else gone through this? I need some reassurance that this is normal.

I was going through it to an extent until very recently. I wasn't tearful but I was feeling low all the time. Throughout most of April and half of May my OH drove me mad and totally got on my nerves. I kept looking at him and thinking, 'argh, I'm going to have to put up with this/that/the other forever!'. But I know I did the same to him. I think it's just the pressure and the stress of it all. But he went on his 4 day stag do last weekend and I missed him like CRAZY, and it made me remember how we didn't see each other much when we first got together and then that in turn made me remember all the things that made me fall for him during that time, and now I can't wait to get married. Hopefully as your wedding gets nearer you'll start to be less stressed, once everything is all sorted and you can start to chill and enjoy the run-up to the big day - the sudden pressure of it being June now is probably what's making you upset and tearful? Especially with the drama you had with your reception venue, that can't have been easy to sort out at the last minute.

You could maybe try writing a list of all the things that you love about your OH, and then re-reading it when you feel a bit upset about it all?

That said though - if you feel, deep down, that you need to talk to your OH about your future then you should.

But I truly, honestly, hope that its just a good old-fashioned case of the jitters!! (I'm assured that it happens to the best of us ?).

Also - I was looking forward to my hen night, and it was terrible - but I still want to get married! My friend broke down in tears on her hen night saying she couldn't marry her fiance, but is still happily married - the pressure just got to her. I don't think the hen night is a good indicator of anything, so don't let that worry you...

Five minutes of work left as a single lady! Woohoo!

Helen I feel slightly similar, even though I'm happy in general and feel quite chilled at the moment I still think the overall mental stress has done something weird to my brain. I am being a bit cold with my OH and for no reason, I am wondering what we're doing getting married ? I know deep down he is the one for me, I just think I've gone a bit loopy. We went from getting engaged and now getting married in a week's time all in the space of six months, my brain has been filled with wedding wedding wedding all that time and I want to feel normal again! I can't wait for the big day and for the marriage itself but all this preparation is doing my head in!

Ive had those feeling recently. its such a big thing and its thes tress. also money stress and i hate my job all at one time. 1 stress i could handle but all 3 at once it get a little too much sometimes and i just cry. i at here and sobbed like a child the other day. BUT at the end of the day i know that I want to marry my OH...i just wish we were already married. and it was all done now. im a bad bride to be x

Oh no! Sorry to hear that a few of you have got the wedding planning blues.

I'm getting there a bit myself at the moment. I just want the day to be here as I'm finding myself worrying & obsessing over little things that I've no control over such as the weather. I also seem to be haemorrhaging (sp?) money!

But I know that this time next week I'll probably feel a bit sad that it's all over so shouldn't wish these few days away.

Jonesy, we get married THIS weekend!!!

All is sorted for me now, just got to beautify myself and take stuff to the venue on Thursday! Can't blummin wait!!!

Just thought I would come here and introduce myself since we get married this month as well.

Starting to get excited now, although very nervous at the same time.

Hows everyone else holding up?

We get married on the 27th, but actually will be secretly married on the 22nd with our ceremony in France being a huminist ceremony.

I still have a ton on things left on my todo list, the main one being I still have no idea what Im doing with my hair!

I think IM just about ready.

My OH still has to finish his outfits with ties and shoes but has finished work now till the wedding.

Bit of a hiccup this morning with my hair stylist pulling out but luckily everything else is sorted so I can focus on that.

The week before we have to pay balance to venue and me have my make up trial and decorate the cake, oh and have my hen do. But all good fun stuff now!

So excited. The happy butterflies are bouncing around my tummy!

I know! I can't quite believe it!!

This time next week you'll be sunning yourself in the Maldives & this time in a week and 2 days I will too!

I felt a lot better after reading that other people were worrying too. We have been bickering/rowing on a daily basis. I had my hen night though and I actually really enjoyed it and felt better about it.

I think one of my bridesmaids is a bit funny with me though - she had her make up trial on Thursday last week and hated it :-(

Also still waiting for the hotel to confirm our buffet and how much it will cost. Oh well, a lot can change in 24 days.

You get married a few days after me, closest Ive had to a date twin yet! We are the wed 27th but we are abroad so a midweek wedding didnt matter so much.

Maybe you could suggest your bridesmaid can do her own make up if she is not happy with the MUA.

It doesn't feel like long now! 22 days for me. We are going to the registry office a week tomorrow to have a 'trial' of walking down the aisle etc. One of my BM's is still funny - supposed to meet up last night but she blew me out. OH has suggested avoiding being alone with her in case there is a row!

I can't find my to-do list either.
