June/July/August 2012 weddings

Hello! I SHOULD be getting married on august 25th but venue has cancelled our booking as it might be closing down.......

We have spent 2 weeks hunting for a venue, lots of disapointment.

Current situation is:

I have a groom, dress, photographer, registrar, napkin rings, centre pieces and favours! lol!

We have found somewhere we love, just need to find a date that our TOG can do that wont clash with ex's wedding in June, cousins wedding in July and both of our previous wedding anniversaries in September, simples?!?!?!

My Fiance and I are getting wed on July 20th 2012 and we can't wait! So far booked the church, reception venue, photographer, caterer, band, evening photobooth, my dress and head piece and bag for the day and decided on the favours, cake and colour scheme for the suits. Still got to sort out a load of stuff as follows:

Invites - can't find any we like -OH is ver picky

Honeymoon - having trouble getting the flights we want

Rings - need to take a trip to hatton garden at some point

1st dance - need to decide on a song!

Bridesmaid dresses - need to go hunting

Groom Wedding present - know what i want to get just saving atm!

Flowers - need to look in to this

whatever eles i have forgotten!!

Hello! I am June 2nd. Currently have a broken foot so have done loads of planning. Meeting a DJ tomorrow and looking at a few cars next week. Venue, Church, Flowers, Tog, Vog, Bridesmaids Dresses, Bridesmaids Pressies, Venue Decorations and OH old University Choir all sorted. All I need to do now is my dress and accessories but with a leg in plaster I'm not actually looking forward to it!

We are getting married on the 8th June 2012. We are having a 50s street party/country fete style wedding. Hopefully everyone will be dressing up too ?

So far we have booked the registry office, tog, caterer (fish and chips!), evening bar, furniture, bouncy castle.

I have got my dress, my shoes and part of OH's outfit.

We have sent out our invites today, OH designed them as that is his job.

Our next job is to find the rings!

Lots done so far: venue & church booked, got dress/veil/shoes, bridesmaids dresses and shoes, DJ, TOG, cars, flowers, cake.

Need to sort: rings, mens suits, pageboys, invitations (picked just need to order), jewelery, hair/make up and pressies!

Hi there, we are getting married on 7th July in Kent, church wedding followed by a marquee reception, (hopefully) as don't have marquee or caterers booked yet. Vintage/ garden party sort of theme, Bunting, jugs of flowers, vintage style dresses, etc etc. This is 2nd time round for both of us, so fairly laid back about if all, in fact to laid back, i haven't even started looking at dresses yet!!? My OH on the otherhand is getting stressed at getting married again, been single for far too long!

Hello date twin, at last I have one who posts on here ?

I'm 4th August. Getting married in Australia with around 65 guests (50ish from here and 15 from there) then a massive party when we get home.

Everything out there is organised, although we get to choose our cake and speak to the DJ (both included in the package) closer to the time.

I'm going BM dress shopping this weekend. I've been looking a couple of times before and have a specific dress in mind, so it's just a case of seeing if it suits my 2 girls.

Rings have come in, although we need to send off my e-ring to check the stones.

Invitations are meant to be going out in October so I need to chase my SIL2B who's doing them for me.

Mens suits in the New Year then we can concentrate on the home party.

I'm 29th July.

We're the 25th of August 2012. We've got most of the big things done now so we're moving on to the little bits and pieces.

We've got: Church, reception venue, car, my dress, mum's dress and flowers booked. We sent save the dates in august just gone. D bought me some bunting the other day, i've got our wooden LOVE letters and have painted them gold, got a guest signing frame, some bits and pieces to start designing the table numbers.

Going bridesmaid dress shopping at the end of October and then wedding ring shopping in january or february i think.

We're getting married on July 21st, so no date twins here, but Gem_k is very close!

Hi Chippers, good to see another chap on here.

So far we've booked church, venue, suit hire, disco, entertainment for the evening, chair/table covers, florist, photographer and videographer.

We're making our own stationery and stuff. We really want to but we're struggling with finding time. We've been making our save the dates since before last Christmas!

We're also making our own cake. It would seem odd not to considering we make wedding cakes ?

There's still so much to do though! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get it all done in time - time is not our friend! With two energetic little boys and my illness it's so hard to get anything done. Boo! ☹️

It's great to hear from you all. I'm looking forward to us all sharing some hints and advice over the next few months.

Yay!! Date Twins ? - I am sure there are a couple more of us on the 7th!!

So far I have - dress, shoes, hair and make up, flowers, jewellry and hairpiece. Bridesmaid dresses, hair and make up (shoes and jewellry their own). Groom's kilt and father's kilts. Venue, registrar, DJ, TOG, cake, menu (awaiting new packages to choose options). STD's sent, invites in house, guest list drawn up.

Next on the list is rings and honeymoon, although OH is organising the Honeymoon so I don't know anythign about that!

11th June 2012!! So excited but keep having a little panic now and again and I had a dream the other night that the cast of Shamless were at our wedding - very strange and a bit disconcerting. Besides that all is going well. Have booked Church, venue, transport, bought my dress, got the rings. Next thing is to find a band and Bridesmaid dresses! x

Hello.... I am getting married on the 25th June in Ibiza. Most of the important things are organised but I've got enough little stuff left to keep me occupied. We ordered our wedding rings on Sunday from Neweys in the JQ, we pick them up in a couple of weeks and I can't wait. I've also ordered my shoes and the bridesmaid shoes recently which should arrive this week, all the little things are starting to come together!

I've not got a date twin yet, but I think abyglos is the closest on the 24th.

Oh and our photographer is sorted and we're in the process of booking a DJ.

We have got venue, disco, dress/shoes, bridesmaid dress/shoes/jewellery, photographer, videographer, florist, chair covers, sweet buffet and registrar booked.

it seems like loads looking at it now, but we have not done anything for absolutely ages, and it feels like the list is mounting up!
