Just paid the last instalment for H2B's ring! *Flash*

So excited

Been waiting on news about H2B's ring for AGES (We only have 2 weeks to go) But has now gone for hallmarking ad should be winging it's way to us soon. It's unlike any ring I have ever seen and will not be to many peoples taste, but he was very specific in that he wanted "something that looks like it's been dug up from a viking grave" It took me AGES to find anything.

Can't wait till it gets here. It's all getting massively exciting now. I received my new passport yesterday (In my new name!) and we have been lookin at added extras for the honeymoon. Tickets for that should arrive any day now!

    That's definitely very different!

    Not sure it's something I would wear - but it certainly seems to match the requirements!

    Could I be cheeky and ask how much that set you back? Or do I really not want to know???

    As I said, it's not to everyone's taste but it's perfect for him. He does historical re-enactment and wanted something he does not have to take off.

    As for price, I don't think it was bad at all, around the £400 mark. And the woman who is making it has been lovely

    He's so picky about stuff like this that i would not dare just choose one for him as I can never predict what he will like and what he will hate.

    I think that ring is amazing! my OH would have loved something like that, but he decided on something more "wedding-like"

    Can i ask where you ordered it from as i might actually look at getting him something like that for present anyway!

    That ring is amazing! Did you have it made by someone local to you? (I hope you don't mind me asking, but i have been struggling to find un-weddingy wedding rings) Smiley smile

    Nope, it's not local. I originally saw a tiny add in the back of a wedding mag with a picture of three gorgeous rings. Looked up the website https://beatonandshott.co.uk/ and picked that one out. They sent a ring sizer for H2B and we ordered it all via email and paid with paypal.

    I just can't wait to have it in my hand!!

    Sounds like she got all your boxes (and H2Bs ticked), gorgeous, I love something a bit different and really personal, which this is.
