last minute chair decisions, Help!

In my honest opinion id got for chair covers everytime!!! unless your theme is red and gold with the above chairs lol

I had this dilemma and then saw photo's of the venue both with and without chair covers- in the end they did look better with covers on

Definatley covers! Your room is where most of your wedding day will be spent & its where all your guests will be - both reception & evening - money well spent!

If the carpet is red then the chairs being covered won't make much of a difference. They would make the room look more of a neutral colour though.

It looks like I'm the minority with this one hehe, but I'm not really a huge fan of chair covers... I just think they make a room look very white fabric-y once you get them in with tablecloths if you see what I mean, I guess I think they look too heavy...

The red chairs and red carpet sound like it would go with your colours though, how about some garlands or something on the back of some of the chairs?

Like Sherrie said, chair covers won't make a huge difference if the carpet doesn't clash with the chairs and as your colour scheme is ivory and gold, both these colours work well with the red.

Thanks everyone, I have gone ahead and booked the chair covers today. I have also asked the venue to not put carpet over the dancefloor during the ceremony and meal so there is now a bit less read in the room!
