Low heeled wedding shoes?

Red Baroness, 8 February, 2011 at 15:10 Posted on Planning 0 29

Where have you bought yours from? Quite like the shoes on bespokebigday.co.uk, but I'm looking for other sites/designers as well.

Love the custom made shoes on Emmy, but the prices ?

Mine are from Next. £30 and have a low kitten heel. Having said that, they had some far-too-blingy decoaraiton on whioch I have removed and made my own silk chiffon rosette with a silver filigree centre which goes with the decoration on my dress.

I bought a second pair which are pale pink with a bow on the front and I LOVE them, but they would make me too tall so I will have to wear them at another occassion.

No-one's going to see them much anyway!

I've tried Next (also Dune and Monsoon), but they are all a bit on the high side.

Have a look at these. Let me know what's right/wrong about them and I can continue my search.

I've had this same problem too, have you tried having a look on ebay? Also there's some rainbow ones that are quite low heeled as well.

Was thinking about ebay as my next port of call. Would ideally like something under 2 inches.

Cricks, couldn't go any higher than that. They have sold out of size 7s though!

Peep, but would be willing to compromise and go for low sandals if I'm really stuck.

I think I need low heeled ones as well as I am nearly as tall as my OH so don't want to tower over him. Still trying to work out whether red or silver shoes would be best Smiley smile

Thank you ladies. Had a look at all of those suggestions (inc Next). They are still all a bit on the high side! I'm the same height as OH, so really looking for something around 4cm/1.5inches or under.

Liked the Debenhams peep toes, but still to high. ?

Haha. From the queen of fussy herself ?

Yes, I am. But, I have found loads of shoes that I love. I'd just be taller than OH if I wore them (= Big Bird).

I'd still be too tall, and for the first dance.

Tricks, not so keen on the IC shoes myself.
