make up and non stick lip stuff suggestions

hp169, 24 January, 2011 at 12:42 Posted on Planning 0 17

Hey can any of you suggest your favourite make up for a natural look and in particular a lip gloss/balm that is non sticky (kissable) x

I can highly recommend Clinique Buttershine lipsticks. I use them on all my brides. They look like a gloss but are applied like a lipstick but they feel like a lipbalm on the lips. They photograph beautifully too. My favourite shades are Delovely, pink a boo, baby baby, adore you, pink goddess. Juliet Www.bridalmakeupbyjuliet.co.uk

I love love love Soap & Glorys Sexy Mother Pucker. I use the clear gloss, but think they do colours too. It's really non sticky - gloopy but does make your lips tingle. You can get it from Boots.x

I took this tip as am always on the lookout for a good gloss that doesn't feel sticky or heavy, not just for wedding day, and got a delovely nude shade in the buttershine - a bit more than I like to pay but O...M...G... It is amazing! Feels like nothing at all on my lips and lasts for ever, even through a meal and some choccy mousse Smiley smile Thanks Juliet for your tip.

Is it a nude or does it have pinky tinge off it? Ive seen it on ebay quite cheap so wondering whether to try it or not!

    It

I got it off ebay too and on the pic it was really deep brown - I opened it and it looked very dark. However when I put it on it was instantly very sheer brown/bronze shade and had a lovely shimmer, very subtle and quite natural. It did not seem pink at all to me, love it! (I always avoid pink as I don't want my teeth to look yellowy which some pink shades can do!)

Hey SaSaSi. Well i can report back that i am now a fan! It feels like lip balm and looks great and does actually last. As for the colour it is very pretty when it is first applied but I think it may actaully be a little pale for me. I kinda wish I had gone for the brighter pink one forgotten what it is called. Hey ho, will have to buy another! lol xx

Hey, just to let you know i got my lippys in the post today, They are both nice but im not sure i picked the right colour. Just thought id mention another one i got which i am very happy with and you wouldnt even know you had anything on your lips is the new max factor lip tint. Its like a felt tip pen that stains your lips and it doesnt rub off or come off on anyone. Its not glossy or anything but if you wanted that you could easily put a bit of balm over the top x
