We got married on 24th March and went to Australia and Bali.

Bali is just coming to the end of it's rainy season in March but is still very hot. We ended up there in April (after two weeks in Australia) and got no rain at all.

We get married a month later on April 20th and we are going to the Maldives! Super excited as got a good deal through Tropical Warehouse who were very helpful.

May is the start of the monsoon season but hopefully we will miss that as it is the very start. I think March is one of the best times to go to the Maldives.

We went to Barbados a few years ago in April, where we got engaged and returned again in Jan for Honeymoon. Lovely place! I'm sure it would be great in March.

Hi, I'm getting married in March too and we're hoping to go to New York for a few days after the wedding (funds permitting). I have been told (by an American friend) that March is quite a good month for NY but dont know how true that is. X

Oh dear! Everyone has some pretty awesome honeymoons lined up! We're considering... wait for it... the Isle of Wight! Had looked at Scotland too but OH is swaying more IoW as he really enjoyed it last time we went. In June we've then got 2 weeks off where we'll tour Europe/Med coast line for 10days then go to Download Festival. We did look at USA and Mexico (I'd personally love Hawaii) but OH has never flown and I get bad travel sickness/anxiety so we thought the Atlantic ocean might be pushing it!

I went to New York in May of this year and it was extremely busy, had to queue for three hours to go to the top of the Empire state Building, March I am lead to believe is a lot quieter. If your doing a lot of sight seeing may I suggest buying the NY pass, will save a fortune and I can recommend a perfectly reasonably cheap hotel in Time Square if interested? I had an amazing time, Im sure you will also xxxxxx

Thanks for the tips. Would be great if you could send me the name of the hotel too please as we would really like to be in Times Square so we're close to all the action in the evenings. x

https://www.edisonhotelnyc.com/ Its right in Time square so handy for everything, I did a lot of research on local sight seeing places and if you dont mind a good walk they are all within walking distance, just plan first and make sure you get all you can from you NY pass, I saved over £100 each person, you can only use them once per attraction. Taxis are by the hundreds. all you see are taxis and police. We got a taxi from the airport to hotel cost $52, there is a shuttle. If you need any more advice Im happy to help x

Oh one useful tip, if your wanting to go to the Theatre, in Time square there is a box office that opens about 6pm that sells off cheap tickets for that same evenings theatre show, you cant miss the box office its easy to spot x

Some of the Riviera Maya resorts look amazing! I wanted to go there but September is a terrible time for rain etc.
