Mass dress flash anyone?

Browny, 27 July, 2010 at 11:26

Posted on Planning 197

So I have noticed quite a few people have found their dresses over the last couple of weeks (myself included!) so thought it might be nice to have a mass flash so everyone can flash their dresses! Here's mine (excuse my expression!) *PIC REMOVED* sorry I've decided to delete my pics of my dress...

Well hello SG nice to see you back for a vist.

Yeah I am hoping to get some photos of mine when I go for a fitting on the 7th of august. I had forgotten just how lovely your dress and whole wedding look were.

    CricketBride

I still love your dress, stephine allin dresses make me have wobbles about mine!

Have to say it is lovely to see so many different styles of wedding dress and once again they all look far better on real ladies than the models

Tahdah, I love your dress ? It was part of the inspiration behind mine!

And I agree with whoever said that all the dresses look better on the hitched ladies than on the models ?

Its a gorgeous style, i had it in my head for ages and couldnt find it any where, i was starting to consider going to a dress maker! then i was in a shop and pulled this off the rail and my Mum and CBM got all excited "thats it, thats the dress you've been searching for, it matches all the cliping you've cut out!!!"

    its a Mori Lee design!

    It's gorgeous.

I didn't know what I wanted at all - just not a meringue. Had no budget OH said I could get what I wanted. A sales assistant pulled mine off a rail as soon as I walked into the first shop, said she thought it was perfect for me and it really really was. I nearly laughed when she said it was £200 in the sale!!!!

    Boooooooooooooooooootiful! I really love that.

I got mine 2 years before the wedding as it was a sale dress. I know some people have had dress wobbles when they've bought them early on but for me, it's still the one and I fall in love with it each and every time I see it.

    So excited.

Lovely dresses ladies. So many different styles.

    Hi Zippy

I will be having what they call in the shop the "Jordan" hoop!! I don't suppose you are having the same hoop?? I have looked all over the net for a better price but can't find one anywhere.

I'm having the dress in gold, how about you?

    Hi SG

Reception venue is Kingscote Barn we were there at the weekend and it is as lovely as I rembered and are wedding coordinator is brillent so very happy.

I am having my dress made by a lovely lady in cheltenham, she specialises in vingatge and high drama type designs (mine is more vinatge than drama) she is in the process of getting her website up and running so no photos yet. However the designer is Cara wagstaff and her business is called cocoa.

    Ooh, lots of beautiful dresses!

I don't have a picture of me in mine as the shop wouldn't let us take pictures and the dress was about 4 sizes too big anyway!

So here is a skinny slightly sulky looking model in it - it looks much nicer on, trust me! Has a lace-up back and a detachable train and loads of detail...definitely having it with the halterneck straps as well, it just makes the dress for me.
