I did think Bercrow's response to him was spot on though.

I don't see why they should be allowed gagging orders just because they have the money to cover up their indescretions!

They shouldn't bloody do it in the first place!

I understand that people should respect other's privacy, but when you live your career in the media, what else can you expect??!!

I don't see what difference it makes to me, or anyone else, if they had an affair or not...

I'm not particularly interested in it from a 'sleb gossip' perspective but from a parliamentary privilege v right to privacy v super injunction and adherence to Court order perspective it's a fascinating time. For this reason, I think it's daft not to show an interest in it. It will have a huge impact on so many different things.

I agree with CB - it's a pity that such a massive legal shake up as this is likely to provoke will have come off the back of some tawdry celeb affair. It's bound to derail and influence the debate surrounding the pros and cons of any new laws that are proposed.

I suspect any debate would have a substantially different colour if the injuction had been concerning some sort of misuse of public (or even corporate) funds by a CEO rather than some footballer that thinks it should be his mistress' mouth that stays zipped rather than his trousers.

I can't find the previous thread on this, still think it would have been funnier if it was Teves.
