My DIY Table centrepieces *with "mock up Flash*

MrsMac2be, 16 July, 2011 at 09:56 Posted on Planning 0 12

I decided that candelabras were going to be too expensive so headed off to Dunelms, I cam back with a short, square glass vase, small white pebbles and a few purple artificial flowers... I put all together and this is the end result... NOW I'm not too sure whether there should be more white pebbles in it, the flower heads should be close to the neck of the vase, or to had more flowers... Please do give me your honest opinions. I did a mini mock up with the tealight holders and purple crystals...

Honest Opinions Very Welcome Please..

That purple colour is beautiful, I think that maybe the stems should be cut a little bit more, but it looks lovely. Jx

I agree.. I think that the flower heads should possibly "rest" on the neck of the vase?

Im not a fan of the little white pebbles but i do like the purple flowers and would be better closer to the vase like you suggested!

I agree, shorter stems so the flower heads are flush with the top of the vase IYKWIM. I think the pebbles look ok but maybe try clear pebbles for a lighter effect against the purple which is a stunning purple BTW.

Or you could even try the water crystals, I got loads from £land 1 bag went a long way. Hope this heps.

I think you are right about resting on the neck of the vase and I would add more pebbles. Lovely colours

    As all of the above.

Shorter stems & the vase needs to be filled to cover the stems.

I really like those! Agree with the others about shorter stems and maybe you could get some mirror plates for them to stand on, or would that be too much?

Ooooh, I like the idea of mirror plates Smiley smile

Maybe I can look into that, buy 1 or 2 and see how it looks? x

Wilkinsons have packs of 3 (20cm) mirrors for about £6...

I love the colour, very vibrant.
