Well just when I thought this year could not get any worse, we found out this week that my lovely wee mummy has cancer in her lungs and liver [:'(]
Its very advanced stage 4 and only pain relief is an option. So really we havn't got very long left with her. Im gutted, just can't believe it. Its so hard because she doesn't want to know how bad it is /how long. Its breaking my heart seeing her go downhill so quickly already.
The Macmillan nurse in the hospital is fantastic, she has been a great help on the phone and the GP is organising a hospice nurse to start coming to the house also. Our GP has been great this week too.
Its so sadly ironic my mum has been a fundraiser for Marie Curie for over 30 years, cancer is such an awful disease and I just wish there was a cure so no one else has to suffer like this ☹️
Also for those who remember - H is back home, I need him and his support at the moment. Things seem good and he has been really trying lately. See how that goes, but mummy is the most important thing in my life now.
So any hugs and prayers going spare they would be much appreciated? I want to thank all the lovely hitchers who have been emailing/phoning me this week ?
