Thanks! Hope it will be as nice as I remember it. I haven't told anyone I know though as I want them all the be surprised when they are actually at my wedding, as each section of the place gets revealed throughout the different stages of the day! I was bursting to say to everyone at work and had to keep biting my lip as a few colleagues will be coming.

Lovely venue, just watch out for the tv behind the bar advertising their venue using other peoples wedding photos. not a great look on your special day!

I'm sure it will be! and yes i think one of the main bits to the venue is the element of suprise when you walk in and then the separate ceremony and reception rooms that are revealed! i did a short placement here for my events management degree and every wedding i saw was beautiful and the staff are brill so you have picked a great venue! unfortunatly out of our price range otherwise we would have looked here for our wedding! The bride tonight must be very happy if he has picked HHF!! it beats thorpe park by a mile! haha

Hmm I don't think the show did it justice at all! The voiceover sort of took the mick out of the farm setting. Plus the price they said (£2400 inc drinks) is about half what we are paying including nothing! My OH is a bit riled up about that.

I thought it looked fantastic - particularly the room where the ceremony was. You'll have an amazing day.

As for the price, they are going to give a massive discount to DDTB due to the exposure. But having my wedding on tv wouldn't be worth that discount to me!!!

Ur venue looked fab The shop he got her dress form is the same place i got mine from- got quite exited!! Sad really!

Me and my hubby went to a wedding there in September and it was on the tele above the bar. Ild ask them about it because it was quite distracting, considering the room was dark, the tele was really obvious, and it made it seem less special in a way i thought.

Wow thought it looked great. I think that the program probably didn't do it justice. When I worked in TV we always looked for an angle to make a story interesting to the viewers. So playing on the farm aspect is pretty typical, especially the cow weeing. I thought the theme was quite funny, but you could see that the venue could be really classy too, depending on what you have. We have been to hundreds of weddings and they have all be unique which you would think is surprising but it's so true. It's the people and their personalities that truly make it unique, so I think you'll be fine.

I thought they were a bit mean in how they described the venue at the start because lets face it its not 'just a farm'...they obviously have to do this for the cameras but from when she arrived at the venue it looked lovely although i agree didn't do it justice...their theme wouldn't be my choice but he tied it all in very well!!

as far as the cost goes their wedding was last minute and on a thursday and so i think thats why it would have been cheaper for them oh and because of the publicity too!

at least you get to decide how you want to decorate it!! personally i'd rather pay the extra haha!! bet you can't wait for your wedding now! im sure it will look fab x

Thanks guys! I did point out the last minute factor to OH and he calmed down quite quickly. I def wouldn't want my wedding on tv no matter how cheap!

As for the cows... when we looked round twice there were no cows there at all! There were some very far off in the distance on neighbouring land but nowhere near where we and the guests will be, so that bit was definitely added on for entertainment value!

The ceremony room was very dark I thought, though still look spectacular, we would be having ours under white pleats and the reception under the twinkling lights, and the breakfast in a big spacious room where we can let all the natural light in, so if anything it confirmed to us we have made the right decisions about rooming choices!

I have just watched it, it was lovely!!! Prob didn't do it justice but the venue shone through for me, I was wishing I was getting married there!
