The day before - 25th august 2011
we had a very relaxed day, surprising as we were decorating everything ourselves and couldn't get into the room till 6pm. I also had to pick up my dress from my grans, tidy the house for people staying over and sort out all of the wedding bits and bobs. Time went very slowly!
At 5pm we loaded everything into the cars, we must of had 1 and a half cars full of stuff. We then jumped in the car and set off to the venue which was 35 mins away in Birdlip. I was going through everything in my head in case i forgot to pack something, when i thought oh c*** i forgot the cake! luckily we were only down the road from my house so we spun around to get it. The cake looked amazing, me and my sister had made it. It was a normal sponge 3 tier with buttercream, we were very proud of it!
We finally get to the venue, where i find my h2b and best man sat on there bums with a pint. so me and the bridesmaids decide to join them for one drink.
Finally we start the room, and it all went so well and everyone that helped did a great job. I went around the room double checking everyone's work, i am a neat freak so i straightened things etc while everyone rolled there eyes lol.
At 7:30pm all was finished, we sat down in the bar for some food and a well deserved drink before heading home with my bridesmaids for some bubbles!
The wedding day - 26th august 2011
I was awoken by the sound of my bridesmaids giggling away at 6:30am, i had slept like a log!!!
We had some breakfast and chatted about the day ahead. Before i know it its 8am and Jo the make up artist, and Jess the hairdresser turned up. My photographer was pieter my soon to be brother in law, he started taking pictures straight away.
My mum turned up with my son Lucas ( she had him for a few nights before the wedding) He ran around the house all excited. Next thing i know she has changed Lucas into his outfit and he looked so handsome!
Time went so slow and i kept wondering around tidying up while i waited for the bridesmaids to have there hair done. My dad turned up about 11am in his suit which looked really smart but he looked so nervous bless him!
My flowers looked amazing! I couldn't stop looking at them! 
The day had started so slowly, but from no where it was 11:30pm and i wasn't in my dress yet (car was coming at 12:15pm) so we run upstairs to get changed.
My sister then handed me a card and present from my h2b. In the card it said look for me and i will Gide you down the isle. ❤️
The gift was in a very posh box, it was a bracelet and was absolutely gorgeous! There was a little bit of paper saying this isn't your actual present, your other present you can have later, i want to see your face when you open it!
12pm im all ready so pieter takes some photos of me in the dress, dad gets a little tear in his eye and then we get in the car and head to the venue!
All day i had been so calm and relaxed but when i was 10 minutes from the venue my chest tightened and i got really nervous.
I was taken through lots of doors and rooms to keep me away from my h2b. I stood in front of a big cream curtain with my dad next to me and my bridesmaids behind me, when i heard the music start up. Desree - kissing you was my walk down the isle song, so beautiful!!! As dad leads me down the isle i see dave my h2b and look at him all the way down! As i stand beside him he has a massive smile on his face and tells me i look beautiful.
We say our vows, exchange rings and were married. the quickest 20 mins of my life!
We head to the gardens to have some pictures taken -
Arrival drinks were given out and our surprise of a caricaturist started drawing, everyone said how amazing it was!
My other gift was a designer bag by Chloe what i have been after for years!
The rest of the day i shall give you in pictures as its taken me over an hour to do this much lol ENJOY THE PICS!
