Hello Ladies it won't be very long as I am not good at these kind of things but here goes....
Friday - The day before
Me and my bridesmaids made the trip to the hotel with everything needed for the weekend which included 4 suitcases, 7 boxes, 1 wedding dress, 2 bridesmaids dresses, 5 large bags and a partridge in a pear tree lol sorry couldn't resist!
We unpack everything and are met my my 2nd mum Janet and my work colleague Sue we go for dinner and a few drinks in the hotel by 10pm I couldn't sit still but didn't know what to do with myself so ended up dressing the ceremony room and having a couple of trial runs with the music before heading upstairs for a shower and a few more drinks while chatting and painting our nails
about 12am we decide we better get to bed so me and my MOH get in bed and were just chatting everything came up the wedding, school, children and before we know it it's almost 1.30 and I still couldn't sleep nerves definitely set in!
Saturday 2nd Oct - Our Wedding Day!
It's finally here we get up to Janet, Lesley (BM) and Sue knocking on my hotel door singing Mel's getting married this morning ding dong the bells are gonna chime lol I let them in then checked the weather and the sun was making an appearance so far so good.
We go downstairs to get breakfast and I managed a piece of toast and some scrambled egg and a cup of tea. I didn't speak much afterwards they said I just looked like I was in a daze! I decide to head off upstairs to get a shower before the make up lady arrived.
Jodie(make up) arrived about 9am ready to start on the bms she is fantastic keeps the chatter going and keeps everyone at ease while doing fantastic work! I sit down with a glass of bucks fizz and have a bit of calm time to myself then it's my turn to be made up 
Before I know it it's 11.45 and time to get into my dress! what a giggle that was! I start to get emotional at this point I think it finally hit me it's happening!! reception ring my room to say they were ushering people into the ceremony room and not to come down until they ring the room again time for another bucks fizz me thinks!
Janet comes into the room with or flowers a red rose hand tie for me and calla lillies for the bm's then the phone rings...... it's time my stomach did and almighty flip and off we went. I got the lift to the 1st floor (we were on the 3rd and didn't want to risk falling lol) I get to the top of the staircase and slowly start to descend all is fine and no crying..... until I turn the corner and see my two beautiful boys all suited up and the flood gates opened and I cried all the way down the aisle and through half my vows!
My mum escorts me down the aisle to snow patrols chasing cars.
James looked amazing and he had a tear in his eye and then I got butterflies. The ceremony was quick but lovely and with very much our stamp on it. a good friend of ours did a reading which was lovely it was called on your wedding day. We say our i do's and kiss then kiss again and again to at last by Beyonce on to the signing of the register just as signed sealed delivered kicked in we left the room as Husband and Wife to greatest day by Take That.
on to photos and lots of hugs and congratulations from everybody while everyone went and found their seats etc the bridal party went to a little park to have some photos done then back to the hotel for the wedding breakfast.
We did the speeches before the meal to get it out of the way as James was really nervous about this part not that he needed to be as he was fantastic! followed by my mum then the Bestman then our eldest son Aaron 7 and then me! it was lovely! The meal was gorgeous really enjoyed it and got to go round to a few tables to talk to people and catch up with a few faces we had not seen in a while!
The evening was fantastic all the old and new faces was brilliant catching up with people we had not seen for years due to work or moving or life in general was wonderful we danced and partied the night away with all our nearest and dearest and had a good friend of our do a swing set he was fantastic! Then me and James had our first dance to I'm yours by the script the words are beautiful.
We had a fantastic day it really was wonderful I would not change a thing.

Jodie Hair and make up - Jodie was amazing I told her what I wanted and she did it 1st time! so friendly and will go out of her way to ensure you are fully satisfied
