I can begin to see how addictive this is going to become already ?

Proposal story...

Me and OH went on holiday to Egypt last May, I'd always wanted to go and see the Pyramids, Valley of the Kings etc and he pulled out all the stops! We had a beautiful hotel right on the Nile and our balcony looked out over the the West Bank and the Valley of the Kings. On the last night of the holiday we went to the hotel bar and had some fabulous cocktails before we were to go on a Felucca (Egyptian sailboat) ride at sunset. There were some other people on the boat that OH pointed out to which my reply was 'it does seat 20' thinking he was being a little odd - there was only one other couple on there! After the Felucca we went up to the top of the hotel where there was a huge solarium to catch the last of our last sunset in Egypt. As I was looking out over the Nile I looked behind to see what OH was doing and as I did he was there on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand that he'd brought back home and taken all the way to Egypt!! It was the most unexpected but the most fantastic sight! It couldn't have been more perfect, if someone had asked me in an ideal world how I could have been proposed to that would have been it! Needless to say I said yes!

What I later found out was that OH had spoken to the man who owned the Felucca to make sure it was just the two of us on the boat as he'd planned to do it then which is why he'd been so funny about other people on there - bless - not that it mattered to me one bit! It was the perfect end to a perfect holiday. xx
