No date yet but we are thinking next September (so a lil over a year). He proposed at the park where we first met (and where we go all the time together). It was so sweet. We had set up a picnic for the day and were just laying down in the grass on our blanket. Nothing too crazy but exactly what i wanted!!

hey hey!! Welcome to hitched! Congrats on your engagement! I loved that dazed feeling that you probably have now the few days after!!

Congratulations! It's all a bit surreal isn't it, those first few days of being engaged? I was completely shocked and blown away when my OH asked me, and was on cloud nine for ages!

Enjoy the search for a venue/choosing a date and just the general "hey, check out my ring" stage, it's great fun! And most importantly put your foot down with family/in laws from the start - if everyone knows where they stand from the outset it'll make for a happier planning experience!
