I dont do geography but I live in Kent, so pretty south east/london way..

I'm an Essex lady getting married on 21st December this year! Woooooooo

? I don't do geography either but know Surrey and Kent are in the South East. So out of curiosity I just googled the counties that are considered to be south east England just to see and brush up my geography. I found the below list - now I know i said I don't do geography but I am pretty sure that the United Arab Emirates arent in South East England!!?

The list is divided into (very vague) sections based on geography and number of entries, not so much local or national politics:

We are marrying in a church in Shoebury and having the reception at the Roslin in Thorpe Bay. Wouldn't have been my first choice by any means but my Dad is ill and bed bound so we had to find somewhere as close as possible to his home as we are hoping we can get him into a wheelchair, although am not sure now he will be able to ☹️

I'm in Bracknell! My parents live in Maidenhead, I lived there too until about a year ago. Bray is such a pretty village, are you going to have photos by the river?

The venue is right on the river so yes we will be....and arriving in a boat rather than a car so hope i dont fall in when making my entrance!!!

I am near Epsom and not sure where I'm getting married yet - though it will be no more than an hour and a bit from where we live. We're still debating how much we are able (and willing) to spend! Any suggestions of venues which can fit 100+ guests and don't charge the earth would be very welcome! We are hoping to get married in May 2012.

Taz I am in Epsom ? Will get my thinking cap on for venues for you. There are quite a few venues around here but have to say many of them do charge the earth so will be a challenge. We went out towards Dorking because H2B lives nr Gatwick so went in the middle. Vicks we looked at your venue is really lovely - they didn't have our date free
