I'm getting married on 6th October 2012 and here's what we've got so far:

Save the dates - sent
Venue and Registrar booked
DJ booked
Caterer booked but not chosen menu
Cake maker booked but not chosen cake
Dress ordered (but no bridesmaids dresses yet!)
Photographer booked
Met the florist but not yet booked
Rings ordered

I still have so much to do and I don't have a colour theme or bridesmaids dresses yet!

Where is everyone else up to?

Thanks everyone for the support - I am going with its fine and I have a shrug if not. I couldn't believe it and then she hugged me at the end and I was confused Smiley smile I love the shop but the alterations lady was weird Smiley smile

I also just found this which I am going to put up - i am going to get people to write words that describe me and boy in the bubbles and then colour the pictures. Its a posters so it goes on the wall Smiley winking. I also have a cards people can write a message for a guest book and colouring pages as well - so probably to much to do but I love it Smiley smile

My hormones have come down today feeling a lot more normal Smiley smile Hope it lasts!!

Thank you Smiley smile eBay! Search fingerprint tree and they are one of the only ones on there that does it. I went for the option where it's mounted on a board for signing and it cost £27.99, with finger pads and pen. The cheapest they do is sent in a roll tube for £24.99, or you can bget it already framed which costs more. They do loads of signing frames too, with your photo in the middle for guests to sign around. Really nice! The seller is occasionsupplies.

For those of you that know about my ring troubles... just got a phonecall to say that the ring has come back from the manufacturer and as an apology they have put in larger diamonds for no extra charge!! Woo I really wanted the bigger ones when I ordered it but just couldn't afford it ? and I'll get it back tomorrow so I'm a happy bunny now xxx

Eeeek! I just logged onto my online HR system at work and realised I could set it to change my name and marital status with effect from a future date, so I've gone and done it. Hope I haven't jinxed anything!?

Natalieexx that is great about your ring. I want bigger diamonds the next time I get someone messing up on an order. Even if its just Tesco!

~Lee~ great news on name change. I am so excited to change mine I am doing it on FB as one of our wedding photos! Oh, and you won't need Star Wars umbrellas as it will be dry and sunny on our W Day. PMA for all of us on that one!

I showed my stepdad what I want him to build for our table plan and he reckons ts easy and has spare wood. All will make sense when I can flash it!

oh and one last thing...... WEDDING IS 1 MONTH FROM TODAY!!!!.

That ring is sooooo lovely! I would have loved something flash, but I am actually having my late grandmothers wedding ring so sentiment wins over diamonds on this one!

    love the bib too!

And ~Lee~ it must feel so real once you finish work.

    So excited for everyone! Squeeeeee!

We met our wedding planner tidy to finalise a few things. Mr postie delivered some battery tealights. I want mostly normal ones, but they don't last long so in areas where they will be on all day I thought battery ones would be better.

Anybody else got some lovely flashes?

Natalie your ring is stunning. So glad you got what you wanted and bigger diamonds too!

I was "forced" to take my team out to lunch for drinks and am now a bit drunky! I have so much to finish off and apparantly my leaving speech is at 4pm. Need to sober up!

Ha ha!! Love this! ? sounds like fun!

Yeah that's the one I got, on Amazon. However I got it for a new born even though it says age 1-3 on it and it's huge! But a lovely little jokey thing for him to wear.

H&M were doing tuxedo babygrows last year, don't know if they still do them!

Try and relax, it will all be OK in the end. I've planned nearly our whole wedding without OH as he is posted in Germany and it's been fine, it'll all be a nice suprise for him on the day!

Make a list so you know what you've got to do and set realistic deadlines for things to be done, then it will seem much more manageable! xx

I had my hair trial today, my hair has been cut short and flicky, going for another dress fitting tomorrow to check on adjustments and two of the flower girls are coming too so we can see if anything needs to be done with theirs xxx

Just got home from having my highlights done and hair cut for the wedding, I know nothing can be done about it now, but I'm not that happy with the cut and its very very blonde! I'm sure my thoughts will change once I've got used to it, but I'm not keen on it right now.

Men (and spectating ladies) and going for their final suit fittings in the morning. Originally I wasn't going to see them in the suits, but I'm too curious and excited to wait until the wedding! Plus, they'll look different when the men are all looking smart on the day so it's ok isn't it!

Wedding politics are starting to rear their head, OH's parents arguing about who should look after OH's grandmother, his sister or his auntie and uncle. She has dementia and quite unsteady on her feet. Trying to stay out of the arguing and hope it gets decided as amicably as possible!

Hope everyone enjoys this weekend, either planning or doing last minute things for very soon weddings!

    LW x

My nan is the same, she's got severe dementia, it's so upsetting. We've nominated family to look after her and keep her positive cos she gets overwhelmed very easily! She'll only be coming for a few hours bless her.

Regarding your hair, see if you get used to it, if not go back and have a few lowlights put back through it to tone it down. It always looks brighter the first day or so! With the cut, try washing it and styling it how you usually do to see how you really feel about it, and failing that any good hairdresser should be able to correct what you don't like about the cut (I'm a mobile hairdresser ? xx

Thanks Natalie, I'm sure it'll look better in the morning! It was a guy who hasn't cut my hair before and maybe my quiet reference to getting married next week didn't translate to please don't mess up my hair!

Hi Luna, I'm sure they could tbh, it's basically an argument between OH's parents over who should do it, each saying different people. I'm not going to wade in as the depths of family issues are quite deep and I've only shared my opinions with OH and he will speak to his dad. I'm sure it will be fine, just getting close and worrying me a bit.
