OMs....how long did you wait for photos?

We got married on the 29th July, had two weeks of honeymoon. The photographer was away for a week and we got them in the end about 4 weeks after.

We had access to low res watermarked images (but all edited etc ready to see) 3 weeks after the wedding. I guess it depends how busy they are etc but didn't your contract give a timeframe?

Our discs came the day we got back from honeymoon. 2 weeks and 2 days after the wedding.

If it's quiet usually the couple wait no more than two weeks.

A wedding at the end of August though may mean 4 weeks as there is a backlog of editing to do.

We had a few high res edited images the day after (we were flying to Oz and I wanted to get some printed to take to my Dad).

The rest took six weeks which is a bit longer than the average but my photographer had just had a baby not long before my wedding and informed me of the timescales in advance so I was happy.

2 weeks for our disc to arrive, and our album is still being made somewhere.

All photographers are different so there is no specific timescale that is quantifiable. Some want to spend more time in post production whilst some will release the images without any work done on them (even on the wedding night). The important thing is the timescale promised to you when booking and hopefully backed up in your contract.

An email with a few (four or five) a few days after the wedding, and then they were all in the online gallery at about the four week point.

Well we got the album previes 2 weeks after the wedding and then got finished albums and disc and prints about another 2 weeks so in whole 4weeks but we got married in august and he had quite a few booked so we got ours quite quick really!!

We have been told 1-2 weeks but ours is a disc only package x

Our TOG has said they have a turnaround of 3 weeks, but he chooses the photos for us. This doesn't bother me though as he also gives us a disc with every photo he's taken, so we will get them all anyway.

We got an initial look about 2/3 days fater the wedding and then a lik to his website showing all the pics he took 500 approx...he took more but only added the 500 as he sas the others had people blinking etc...

H and I have taken ages to decide on oictures and are meeting our TOG this saturday to confirm ehat pics we want... awhole 4 months later oops

Our online gallery was up within a week but the DVD of images will take up to 10 weeks apparently. They do have to be sent from Australia though!

Ours says 3 weeks as well. A friend of mine waited over 6 months for theirs (and paid a lot more than I did!) xxx

I got my photos in two weeks time. ? Actually a got them uploaded to the private gallery on photographers Web pages the following week, and photo book followed shortly together with DVD. Very happy with my choice. Pm me if interested In photographer details. Ahhh keep on viewing photos every day ?
