That was me Claire - I had been hoping to find something a little more personal to you, but think I've been a bit of a rubbish stalker. Hope you enjoy them know, I've not had those particular ones but any Hotel Chocolat stuff I've had before has been especially yummy.
Oh yes Sandy - its bendy and everyfink!! lol!
Now its time for my Secret Santa to step up - my present arrived today and now my lounge (cos thats where I opened it!) and my bathroom smell 'lush' ... and the coasters are just fabulous!
So ... who are you??!
Thank you SOOO much!
Bump for all those who would still love to find out and thank their SS ?
Yay I can join in now - thank you very much to my Secret Santa, my new years resolution was to start looking after my skin more so I am looking forward to using my pressies
Will the real SS please stand up?! (imagine Eminem Stylee)
I meant Kat44 as she has recently posted that she wanted to know who was her SS too...
I would like to know who was mine too though as they had put a lot of thought into my presents and were just lovely
Doesn't look like my SS particpated in sending a gift which is slightly annoying since they will have received one I guess.
Still would like to know who my SS was too, love my pressie so much, its perfect xx
Sorry to hear lyns, thats rubbish.
do you want to N&S the person???
Oh no teehee that wouldn't be nice but I don't know who they are anyway. Grace has emailed them but the last I'd heard just before christmas was that they hadn't replied to any email from Grace.
I guess they might not have emailed over the festive break as the email might have gone to their work rather than a personal email address. That's not an excuse for not posting though as they had ages but hopefully they will reply to Grace when back at work if that's what has happened.
Lisa hopefully that's the case but I think Grace had emailed before the Christmas break but they might still have been off work. I'm not holding my breath though because it wouldn't take a lot to come on here and say that if anyone was still waiting for their SS that one was on it's way especially considering the initial date was 2 weeks ago. I guess I'm feeling angry by it all because if they had sent one and knew it would be late surely they would be keen to let Grace know that.
How many people haven't sent their presents? I think that's terrible to agree to something then change their minds without telling anyone because it means someone loses out.
I know my secret santa has received hers but she hasn't posted on here so I hope she liked it!!
I don't know NurseBride. I agree that it's terrible to put your name down for something and then do nothing about it. A quick post on here or email to say they are sorry would be sufficient. Even if it was going to be late I still think an email is the least they could do. Put it this way I won't do a SS again because whilst you don't give to receive I very much doubt we would have spent money on a present to a stranger for no reason. I'm just pleased the present my SS got, albeit a day or two late, was liked.
I mean, there's a few regulars who are on here who couldnt afford to do it, which is fair enough, so they didn't put their names down. Even if someone's circumstances changed then they should have emailed and said that they were unable to do it so things could be jiggled around a bit. That way everyone who spent money would receive something in return.
I agree that you don't give presents in order to receive them but in a Secret Santa you do, because then everyone gets a present!!
I feel like buying you something pretty now! Should we put our pennies together to get those who haven't received gifts something? xx
Crafty Em - your SS was Mrs_T2B, it was on another post on page seven
I don't think my SS has come fwd yet? Incase you've forgotten, you sent me 2 lush Lush bath ballistics and some cat coasters! (not for cats, for drinks ... oh you know what I mean!!!)
C'mon - who was it?
Now don't go doing that and I really mean it. It's a very lovely thought but seriously don't. Santa was very good to me so I got loads of pressies but I'm just a bit upset that maybe my SS didn't bother about me.
Ah - mine hasn't arrived either but my SS has confirmed they sent it. No-one should need to go out of their way to get those of us who missed out anything....like LynseysDesigns santa has been very generous. I'm just glad the person I bought for got theirs safely.
... and if they haven't been in touch about why its not been sent, lets just hope its not because of any bad news/event for a Hitcher in December : (
