Ordered a Gown but...

Brian-Mcculloch-Glasgow, 27 September, 2017 at 13:28 Posted on Planning 0 1

My daughter's wedding is just next month and I personally ordered a beautiful gown for her. But, she is not too happy with it and wants me to return it. What should I do?

Speak to the dress shop. It's likely you'll be stuck with it, so you'll have to sell it off at a discount.

Don't pay any more for your daughter's dress! Let her get her own dress.

They don't usually let you return wedding dresses as they're made to order, but you can ask.

if she isn't going to wear it, you'll have to consider selling it or there are sites where you can hire them out to make some of your money back.

As for what she's going to wear, with only a month to go she will have to try sample sales or even seeing if there's any dresses for sale online second hand in her size. -be wary of how the dresses have been altered when buying used though. Pay attention to how tall the bride is and how high her shoes were, if in doubt, ask questions. Charity shops are also good for getting dresses fast.

    Hope this helps x
