I'm currently an accounts assistant (definitely NOT my dream job) until this wedding malarky is all paid for, then I'm back off to uni to train to be a midwife (which is definitely my dream job).

If you click on somebody's ticker it should take you to a site, design your ticker than add it to your profile under..... hang on I'll just have to check.... ?

ETA: click on your name, edit profile, think it was forum preferances?? and then copy the code from the ticker site in the signature section.

    I think that's right ?

Well done, it took me a few go's to get it working, stupid things. Now you will have the amazement of wondering where all the time has gone eveytime you notice your ticker.

I started out as a hairdresser and retrained in business.

I work now as a Credit Controller (cashing money) for a Italian paint manufacturer. Mostly car paint so quite at the moment, but been to our head office around 8 times which is a bonus in Lake Como

I'm lucky enough to be a stay at home mum while my poor hard working OH goes out and works (90 hours some weeks) we don't live near any family and I wouldn't be able to earn enough to pay for childcare for our two children so until the youngest is of school age I am head cook and bottle washer (and everything else in between lol)

I'm an administrator at a waste management company on a contract with the council! Not my dream job but has great prospects. I used to work in the motor trade but left before the company started making redundancies (first one was 2 weeks after I put my notice in!!!)

I've also done a pretty much full time degree with the OU, just waiting for my results now to see if I've graduated...

Im loving your job description, my H2B isnt working at the mo although our youngest is at school because of thier additional needs and the fact they go to three different schools it makes it very diificult to work around and at the moment i can earn more in my job so thats how we are doing it for now, although he will start looking for work after the wedding as we are hoping to try for a baby of our own (the three boys are from my previous relationship) and he would need to be in an established job once 'junior' puts in an appearence!!! lol

I'd have loved to have gone to that! Was it in the UK?

    Hi everyone

Firstly congratulations - I have just started a jewellery business after recently making my niece her wedding jewellery (she got me on here) and then getting commissions from others. Any advise from brides to be on what they are looking for - for themselves and gifts would be great.

Still temping whilst the business gets set up - hopefully my dream job will soon be here !

Yes but next years is sold out (sold out in days this time!). They do them all over the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany too. Lots of fans travel from the UK to the other countries. I have don't have that sort of money or time I'm afraid! The UK version is here https://www.rogueevent.co.uk The boys are attending the Germany one rumour had it anyway.

I think my user name gives it away....?

I have been designing and making beautiful bridal jewellery and many other types too, since 2003. Wedding jewellery is definately my favourite bit though as I love custom making things in different colours (I have over 50 different crystal colours!). It's my dream job and I can't think of anything else I would rather be doing.
