I want to get some perfume for a xmas pressie for daughter. She wears Black Orchid by Tom Ford and likes that type of smell, sort of musky, fusty type smells! I wondered if anyone could give me a few names of similar type perfumes that I could seek out? I don't really know perfumes - help!

I like Chanel Coco, but depends how much you want to spend! A colleague wears Gucci Guilty and I really like that too.

Not sure what that smells like but I'd say I like musky, sweet perfumes and my current fave is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. Also a fan of Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy but that's less musky. Years ago I used to wear Obsession and that really is musky! Sister wears Alien which is another of those types is scent.

I wear that kind of perfume and my favourites are Chanel Coco and Miss Dior.

Thanks everyone - I'll have a whiff at those. She's had Alien, Angel and Prada before for other xmas's so I know she likes those but there's a few I haven't heard off before so I'll seek those out next time I'm in town. Cheers
