Murphy loves cuddles more than anything in the world! He somehow manages to climb on to the couch every night and ends up lying upside down crushing me, He is a giant teddy bear!
Neither did I - they are not exactly streamline creatures! Love the beginning of the vid when all you can see is their ears poking out the water! Want. to. go.
Oz is my part loaned horse (I wish he was mine!!) He's 20 and the best thing I've ever decided to do!! So much fun in the summer to go out for a canter in the sunshine with the breeze in your face and him running around like a nutter!!
This is our beautiful roborovski hamster Bumble, he is brilliant and has a proper little character he is ditsy and clumsy just like me! Most Robo hamsters die before they are 2, but he turned 2 at the end of October and is still plodding along. We love him so much, we spend so much time looking after him, talking to him, getting him treats and so on. Some people think it's weird we love him as much as we would a cat or dog ('proper pets') which is a shame. Here he is grabbing his favourite treat peanut butter on lettuce and sleeping in his tube.
This is Mr B can't believe he will be 5 this year!
This is the day I bought him home, just after he'd knocked over a can of beer and drunk it, I thought I had already broken him after 30 minutes in my care
So, I saw this thread a while ago but didn't have any pictures of my Ollie on my laptop. I've now transferred some from my phone so here are a few of my favourites...
I swear, if I wasn't getting married, I'd probably be a crazy old cat lady!
You can be both. After having 2 cats for 2 and a half years I have finally convinced hubs to get a 3rd. We havent even picked him yet but I am already wondering if we have space for a 4th as I think a Devon Rex would be a perfect companion for a Siamese...
In reality I cant see it working so I wont try and convince him but I can still be a crazy cat lady. I am always researching cat things, buying cat toys or anything cat related. He just looks on in despair.
Devon Rex's are lovely although we have never had one ourselves......Around 6 months ago we introduced a 3rd cat to the house, much to the angst of our 19 month old tortie.
Our Red Point siamese though accepted the new cat and they get on extremely well.
The new cat is a re-home and is around 18 months old.....she is a Nebelung, which is quite a rare breed....
Peter
3 cats, 12 rats, 1 ferret, 1 bearded dragon, 2 budgies and tropical fish.......quite an eclectic mix!!!!!!
Nebelung's are very lovely. I was always taken with Russian Blues but by breed standard they are fairly shy and quiet, I am looking for an active ball of madness hence the Siamese. I may regret that
I never really liked the Foreign breeds or the Rexes but the more I learned about them the more I fell in love with their personalities and then their looks. I prefer Devons to the Cornishes and the Classic Siamese as apposed to the Extreme Siamese.
We have had two Siamese....Our first one was a Seal Point...amazing character which I could write a book about......the current Red Point is difefrent although a great companion.....When he passes away, we will have to get another.....
These are my gorgeous kids from bottom left to right, Millie, Milo, Charlie and Max. Sadly we lost Charlie on Xmas eve and I'm still gutted, she was suppose to be my BM ='(
