PinkJay's Mummy :'o(

Just spoken to pinkjay 1/2 an hour ago. She'd like me to tell you all her lovely little mummy passed away peacefully at 4:30pm today. She's thankful her mummy is no longer suffering but is obviously devestated. As are the family. She was lucky to be with her mummy at the time she passed away.

J has asked me to tell all the kind hitchers who are texting her that she isnt being rude but she cant bring herself to text everyone or reply to your texts, but thanks you all for being so supportive.

Please raise your glasses to her wonderful mummy and the fantastic 30 + years of fundraising she has done in her life for Marie Curie.

Love to all the family, we're thinking of you J.

    How very very sad. I remember she only posted 2 weeks ago that she just found out her mum had this terrible disease. I am so sorry. Could you pass on that she is in my thoughts please. Thank you.

    Got word of this a few hours ago and couldn't believe it. Its just been really sudden.

    Pinkjay darling I know the next few days will be surreal and hideous... do take care of yourself and dont be afraid to ask for help.

    All I can say is a huge thank you to all of you, the messages are very kind. Also everyone that has text'd and emailed, again you are all so kind.

    We were shocked at how quickly our wee mummy went downhill, the cancer just got the better of her, thought she kept fighting to the very very end. We were lucky that my brother, sisters and dad were all there, I havn't left her bedside for days looking after her. Its hard to believe it was only 2 weeks ago we were told how ill mummy was. Tho at the same time Im glad she wasn't suffering for long iykwim.

    I have to say the support we have received from our GP, receptionists, district nurses, macmillan nurse and marie curie nurses who have stayed the last few nights, well it has just meant more than words can express at the moment.

    We just keep telling mummy that it was payback time that the marie curie nurses were there, as she fundraised for over 30 years, im going to do my very best to continue on fundraising for them, they are amazing people.

    Anyhow my wee mummy is at peace now and is not suffering anymore, its very hard though, part of me has gone but I know she will always be with me ?
