I would honestly say keep looking for now just go try different dresses on and make sure you know exactly what style will suit you. Something you thought you really wouldnt like because of how it looks in the pic may end up being perfect for you in the flesh, thats what happened to me anyways. ooohhh pictures?

I spent 3 months looking for my dress, I tried every style going to make sure I found the style which suited me best and then went from there - I narrowed it down to 3 the day I chose my dress but after trying them all on again I knew the one i chose was the right one - my mum came with me and said the same thing!

I had the same dilemma as you, although not on quite the same scale. 2 dresses I thought could be the one, both totally different to each other. One was £795, the other was £1300! I thought I was leaning towards te £795, but I think deep down I knew this was purely because of the price.

I kept looking, and the one I went for wasn't either of the above, but totally different to them both! I knew the minute I tried it on and it blew the other two out of the water (and made my mum sob!).

If you're unsure, then it's probably not the one!

Keep looking, chances are you will find another lace one just as beautiful for much cheaper. Go to sample sales, wedding shows etc - I'm sure you can find a cheaper alternative!

To me it seems that if they both cost the same, you'd go for the lace one, so I wouldn't just settle with the plain one because it's the only other one you've liked. Wait til you can find what you really want within your budget. And tell the lady in the shop you have a set budget and don't try anything on over that amount - that way you can't fall in love with a dress you can't afford. xx
