We've hardly opened any presents as my little boy was sick today so wasn't interested in his own presents and we didn't have the heart to sit there opening our own in front of him.

    So far though I've opened:

    L'Occitane precious cream

    Nigella's Christmas

    Zoe Heller's new book

    Scarf from Monsoon

    Necklace + bracelet set

    A good haul so far!

    I've had some lovely gifts.

H bought me a digital camera and a gold chain. He had the spare link from the bracelet he bought me a couple of years ago made into a pendant for it, which is gorgeous.

I had a lovely pair of Kurt Geiger shoes from C (thanks to H)

Mum and Dad gave us some money, a hamper of wine and chocs between us and for me there was a nightie.

PIL gave me a lovely leather purse with some cash, some awful PJs and a "sexy" nightie that my boobies will never fit into.

I also got some smellies, you rebel light, a recipe book, some mugs, family guy dvds, gift vouchers, choccies and a digital photo frame keyring.

I got a Bose Ipod docking station and a gorgeous Sekonda watch (silver strap with pink face and tiny diamonds instead of numbers) and a red Radley briefcase bag (which I got last week) from my husband. My mum bought a joint present of a deep frying pad (asked for) and a jewellery roll with necklace. My children bought me a lovely smelly candle which they chose on their own at school - this actaully means the most to me because it a scent which I love (spices instead of florals), in a lovely deep red colour, so they put some thought into the purchase instead of just a random buy.

Tomorrow is my birthday so I still have some more presents under the tree waiting me to unwrap.

From H - I got a 4GB memory stick for my school work, a build-a-bear dog and a mr men model with Little Miss Sunshine and Mr Grumpy ( I got H a cuddly Mr Grumpy!)

From my Mum and Dad we got a coat/hat stand - which I managed to split some of the wood putting it together (Dad has taken it home to fix for me!), a DIY book (i do the DIY in our house and I think dad is fed up with me asking for help!) and a digital photo frame.

We are seeing my brother and sisters today so more present exchanging. PIL sent nothing but they live in South Africa and don't seem to do presents also MIL hasn't spoken to us since our wedding anyway!

    So far I've got:

From H: Harlequins one-off shirt that they're going to wear on Saturday in aid of Cancer Research

    Fat Face scarf

    Fat Face bag

    Take That and Coldplay CDs

Couple of silly books (one of which I'd also bought for him, oops)

    Cute bookmarky things

    From PIL:

    Make up set

    Roses

Pen with my name on it - H got one as well, they appear to think we are 5 years old. MIL definitely does gifts by the numbers, for example H always gets something Simpsons related and a chocolate orange ?

Off to my parents today so more gifts then, for the first time in I can't think how many years I don't really know what my mum's bought for me, normally I'm with her when she buys it! Think it may be a pasta machine.

sister made a hamper for us with some extra presents for me including a jamie oliver 'best sister' mug (although i am actually her only sister ?)

ILs bought me various DVDs/CDs including mamma mia, sleeping beauty, cinderella 3 ?, the shield series 4 (bit of a contrast there), and the justin timerlake and razorlight CDs i never got around to buying

friends got me the magnolia baking book, (apprently this is the bakery carrie and miranda buy cupcakes from in SATC) a necklace with a crystal fish pendant (sounds awful but is lovely) white company goodies and ashes to ashes on DVD.

secret santa at work got me a jamie oliver kilner jar with rock salt. they know me so well there, how many other people would be made up with a jar of salt?

Best pressie = a mini keg of Summer Lightning ale! What with being upduffed and all I spent most of the year whinging every time I had to drink lime and soda of an evening while everyone else had pints of tasty ale so lovely lovely H got me 12 pints all to myself ? BIL sent me a pound of Cropwell Bishop which is likewise absolutely fab ?

Daughter did by far the best, especially considering the only thing we gave her was the gift of life ? - lots of pink clothes from in laws and friends and godparents including a really quite fab Jackie O style jacket, baby clothes are pretty cool these days!

I had some lovely stuff: a bracelet and some clothes to fit my hideous post-baby body from H. Clinique stuff from parents, a lovely diary * address book, fabulous PJs, a digital photo frame, books, wine & chocs galore from assorted siblings

The baby (5 weeks old) had the biggest pile of presents by a country mile, which is just as well because we gave her only the gift of milk and clean nappies. Luckily the grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins came though and she has a huge haul of cuddly toys, books, clothes and most importantly an Aston Villa dress, hat and bootees (my brother was devasted that they didn't do a replica kit small enough for her)

Saadly the baby did not give us the gift of sleep Smiley sad

Per Una slippers and matching fleecy dressing gown
    Jo Lo Live Perfume
Silver Sequin Evening Bag for NYE
    Shampoo Set
    Cashmere Pashmina
and finally the Dualit Food Processor that I have been lusting after for months http://www.johnlewis.com/230440135/Product.aspx

I am super chuffed with everything I got, I am very spoiled.

From H - A 2ft Superlambanana, yay! Anyone who hasn't visted Liverpool this summer probably won't understand my obsession but I am thrilled. ? It's the most impractical present in the world but it's made my Christmas.

I also got smellies, Nigella's Christmas, Green and Black cook book, Cecila Aherne's new book ?, yellow submarine bath radio (I've been after one I can have in the bath with me), Superlambananas book, a jumper and chocolate oranges.

From my mum - a Radley bus pass holder, Mamma Mia DVD, knee high boots (which I got in October), Only Men Aloud CD (my table present), a skirt and L'Occitaine lavender bubble bath.

From MiL - a small china Superlambanana

From my cousin and friends - a box of biscuits, Thorntons chocolate share bowl and Aussie shampoo/conditioner/ hair repair gift set.

From internet weirdies - Green and Blacks chocolate from Lumpy, a hat box filled with beautiful things from Monkey Fingers (a dreams and wishes book, a oven glove tree decoration, heart silicone muffin cases, a necklace and lip balm plus a painted heart trinket box and coaster from Ned) and a heart necklace from Magenta.

Embarrasinly, we still have more gifts (from B&SiL and my friend) to come!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. ?

I did very well this year.

From my H and the kids I got:

    An Animal Bag

    Animal Belt

    Top

    Nightdress

    Famiyl Guy Boxset

    Sean Lock DVD

    Family Organiser Calender

Then as a joint present to each other we got a Wii Fit and game.

My parents bought us as a joint present a 32 inch flast screen telly and a Dvd Player - then also Mum gave me some money from her redundancy package to put towards my new camera.

My brother bought me a Wedding Photography Book.

I got a jumper from my Nan and a framed photo from my best friend.

Oh - and some random presents from my FIL - a pair of curtains (no idea why, he has no idea of the colour of our rooms or the size of our windows as neither he or my BILs have been to my house), a set of knives and then some weird drill kit - he seems to think we need tools as he gave my H a load of power tools for his birthday one year. Then he also gave me a necklace which although I am grateful, it is hideous! lol

Mrs M, what on earth is a superlambanana?! ?

I got a dress from Zara and a pair of patent leather ankle boots from H, as well as the promise of a new bag in the sales.

    Lots of clothes from parents.

A lovely 5-pic column frame with photos from wedding, and a professional (but scary-looking) hair curling tool from bro and his gf.

A hat (that fits - yay!), gloves and scarf and a lovely top from sis.

    Money from in-laws and grandparents.

Very pleased. Hope everyone had a great day ?
