I went to my first wedding fayre last monday and I saw a wonderful tea length dress and now I REALLY want one! Anyone else having a short or tea lengthe dress? I'm only 5'1 and I'm actually petrified of a big dress! Also, I am a bit of a shoe-aholic and have some wonderfully fabulous royal blue...

As promised, here are pictures of the dress. Excuse the quality, it was on my phone and I wouldn't stop moving! The dress clearly isn't as good quality as the Justin Alexander one but for the money and my wedding it'll be perfect. It has boning and I got it changed to a corset back with modesty panel for no extra cost. There are others that charge more so may be better quality but a wedding dress for £90? Bargain!! I got it from:

I hope the pictures came out. I can't see piccies on my work computer!

Couple of Q's tho, which site is it from and how do you measure the Tea lenghth, is it to jst past your knee or did they know what lenghth you meant? x

    ps thanks for the flash!

    This is my dream dress!

I am 5'4" and have a bit of a thing about big flouncy dresses. I've never tried any but i don't think they will do me any favours and i am desperate for a tea length dress. Mum and Grandma are a bit opposed but its what you feel comfortable in.

Try some on and see how you feel.

It was from ebay seller 5911victoria. I didn't measure anything - just gave them the dress size based on their chart. I'm 5'5" and am wearing 3" heels in the photo. I think tea-length is meant to come half way between your ankle and your knee. I think I'm lucky that I'm average height!

Its sooooo nice, im now thinking i should get one! Did it take long to make? and is it the coffee coloured one you got? I also like the sound of the corset back, do you have a wee flash of that? Also sorry about the twenty million questions lol.

I ordered it on 6 February and it arrived on 10 March. They took a bit longer because of the Chinese New Year. I chose Ivory (63) for the dress and a beige for the sash. Can't remember the number but it's on the top left corner next to a green on their swatch thing. Didn't take a picture of the corset back because we tied it like a trainer. We need to google how to tie corset back! It has the wide satin ties.

I am SO relieved I like it. Especially as I get married on 30 April and wouldn't have much time to get anything else.

It's a good copy for the price CM. The contrast colour of the skirt is the main difference that i can see. In real life it is quite pinky (wee flash) Glad you are happy with it i can't wait for mine to come in should be in a few weeks . I feel like i have been waiting forever as i ordered it in November.

Saw this dress in a magazine and fell in love! I know I want a fishtail lace dress but if I was rich I'd buy this one and just wear it every day, all day! Its stunning!!!!! (And so are the shoes ? ) If you want a short one, go for it!! Don't let boring tradition and other people's opinions put you off! Chances are everyone will love it and you'll get a few copy-cats!! xx

One of my clients wore one with a purple petticoat:-

Not sure who it was by but I like the coloured petticoats. I've seen a hitcher on here who had a pink one who got married a while ago on a beach..... name escapes me now but I'm sure someone will know who I mean!
