So, from Mrs Magic's thread, how long before first meeting and marrying?

Seven years, to the day (twee, I know!)

3 years and 360 days from the day we met to the day we married, but we weren't together for the first of those years.

7 years from when we first met and became friends. We only became a couple in the last 10 months of that 7 years.

Six years to the day. Equally twee ?

6 and a bit years. i met H on the first day of Uni, he was in the room next to mine. I thought he was awful, geeky, rude, boring ?, we got together in the 2nd year, and married in July 2007, after a 10 month engagement!

9 years - and 1 month from our first date.

But we met years before that, at school.

25 months. It sounds like ages but it felt quite quick!

I knew I'd marry him on the first date ? Obviously I didn't mention it to him ?

22 months from meeting to marrying.

We got engaged after 11 months and married 11 months after that.

It was 10 years and almost 2 months..........I wanted to be sure ?

Just over 7 years after we started going out with each other.

We first met in July of 98, got together as a couple in July 99 and got married in Feb 2004, so 5 and a half years.

Ummmm, from first meeting to the wedding was about 15 years! Needless to say we were only together in the last 2 years and 9 months... Although he did ask me out a few years before and I said no, oops!

Just under 23 months. Although I had a baby in that time ?

My parents were married in 6 months of meeting and have been together for 38 years!

It was 9 years almost to the day (met 3rd July 1993 got married 6th July 2002)

5 and a half years.

Met in Nov '95, finally went on our first date in June '96. Got married June '05 (not quite to the same date!). So, we'd been together for at least 9 years by the time we got married. His Mum still didn't think I was right for him. ?

Six years between when we started going out with each other and when we got married. We knew each other for six months before we started going out with each other, so six and a half years altogether.

Met November 1998, married May 2004, so 5.5 years. 5th wedding anniversary soon.

14 years, 4 months. Living together for 14 years, engaged for one

We met on 16th July 1998(only remember the date as it was my dad`s birthday) and got married on 1st November 2008-so over 10 years!!

We met sometime in 1999, got together on 03.02.01 and married 06.07.08 (everso slightly twee!) so we'd known each other 9 years, together for 7.5 when we got married ?

We met in September 1992 - he was dating and I was living with somebody else at that time and, after a lot of things happened(!), we were married in September 1997.

We met in person in September 02 having been friends online since about March time. We started going out October 02, engaged 2 years later and then married on 11th August 2006 so about 4 years.

5 years 1 month from first meeting but we didn't start dating then. We were together for 3 years and a week before we got married.

17 months from meeting til marrying.

Met in Jan 2000. Married in Jan 2006, so almost exactly 6 years.

We met online in March 04, in person May 04 and got married in August 06, so thats 2yrs5months (right? lol - maths was never my strong point!)

A week short of six years, we'd lived together for 5.

We were together for just under 11 years when we got married. Nothing like rushing into things ?

10 years between meeting and marrying. 8.5-9 years together. Met in September 1998 when we started uni. Officially got together 22 January 2000, although had been fooling around since the previous April, and we got married 2nd August 2008 after a 6.5 month engagement.

We first met in September 1997 (i was in a car that nearly ran him over - being driven by my boyfriend at the time!) we were mates for quite a while then me and the guy I was seeing split up and he helped cheer me up and generally got me through. We got together in February 1998, moved in together in March 1999, bought our first flat together in February 2001 and got engaged in August 2001. Got married in April 2003.
