I've been a very bad hitcher lately and not been around much - time is just disappearing and my ticker scares the life out of me! However, I have FINALLY managed to get some pics so I can have a bit of a flash, which I've been dying to do for weeks and weeks and not been able to for one reason and another. So (hopefully these will not be too ginormous.....

And finally (as if you weren't all bored enough already and just cos I haven't done a ring flash before)....My engagement ring!

Sorry to get all me, me, me, especially when I've not been about so much I'm just so excited to finally have pictures to share with people!

Thanks they came off the bay of e - I spent weeks trying to find plain white wellies that didn't have "Dunlop" or "abbattoir supplies" printed or moulded on them ? and just as I was about to give up (refuse to pay £50 for white Hunter wellies I'll wear once?) these furry little numbers appeared. I spent a few hours gluing the crystals on to make the hearts, I'm surprised my eyesight didn't suffer!

I love it all, especially the wellies! I have those sketchers shoes too, they are so comfy.

Love the colour of your bridesmaid dresses and the invites.

Going to be really cheeky and ask where in Scotland you are getting married?

I live in Edinburgh and we are getting married in Bathgate, just outside Edinburgh in a place called The Vu.

Not cheeky at all - we're getting married at Ross Priory, just beside loch lomond. You might get some pics if you google it but the website is a bit pants! It's owned by Strathclyde uni, where I got my degree (actually where my whole family have got our degrees ?) and I'm well chuffed that the money's going back into the uni rather than to a hotel chain or private venue (not that that was a deal breaker, if the place had been horrible we wouldn't have gone with it, it's just a nice wee bonus!)

Just had a quick google, it looks really lovely, very grand, you must be so excited, not long now!!!

I totally agree with you about the money going back into the uni, that's a really nice idea, like giving something back.
