I'm going to put together a music list/CD for H2B to play on the morning of the wedding. He loves classic rock, american 80's tunes, and a bit of cheese with some modern music. We also do modern jive, so songs that fit there are also good.

So far I have

Everlong- Foo Fighters

Chasing Cars- Snow Patrol

Beautiful Day- U2

Don't stop believing- Journey

Crazy in Love- The Baseballs

What else would you suggest? I don't want it to be too soppy though, as he'll be getting ready at his Mums house with his brother lol!

I recently brought an album called 'american anthems'. Its got exactly the kind of music your talking about on it...fab album and think it's 3 cd's so plenty of choice!

I'd have to go down the 80's power ballad route I'm afraid coz I'm such a 80's throwback?

How about...

Van Halen - Jump

Van Halen - Whya can't this be love

Poison - Every Rose

Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home ALabama (not 80's, I know)

How about some Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Guns n Roses for him to re-live his youth to (assuming he's an oldie like me ? )
