Sweetie Jars

mattsgirl, 20 December, 2011 at 21:19 Posted on Planning 0 14

I found a place which sell the glass jars (that are called biscuit jars in the shop), which would be ideal for a sweetie buffet and they are only £1.50 each!! I grabbed myself a few just now. Am I allowed to say where they are from on here? Just thought I should let fellow hitchers that are considering doing their own sweetie buffet know!!

Sounds like she is going to keep the secret to herself!

Ikea do some big ones at 99p each, I got ours from there.

I found that Hobbycraft do I think 25 or 40 or some such small little glass bottles for a tenner, but they're for favours. We're going to use those for favours with retro sweeties inside.

Sweetie buffet sounds lovely, would lvoe to see a pic if anyone has had one?

Edited to add; it was 24 little bottles, but they're actually £30! Oops.

Lovely layout jules40! If you dont mind me asking how many people was this sweetie buffet for and how many sweets did you need? I am only asking because I haven't got a clue how many sweets to buy!!!!

    TIA

That one was for 80 people. We estimate around 150 g of sweets per person
