Table names - what are you having?

I like the sweets idea!

We had considered different cocktails - I like to dabble with mixology, so would be quite a good theme that my friends would appreciate

Now we've got an Alice theme, we are either going to do playing card tables - Ace to King of hearts or, as we are having 12 tables (I *think*) OH would like to do hours of the day, ideally with each person sat at a time within the hour, e.g. 12.15 or 10.30, so we can assign people a time as opposed to a place setting

Ours will be named after important family members as its just a nice gesture everyone can appreciate

Locations in New York, as that's our theme.

think we're having; Empire state building, Broadway, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and our table will be Rockefeller Tree as that's where we got engaged

Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (top table)

The Good, The Bad and The Queen (mates, Boy's family and our one remaining Queen grandmother, all from Yorkshire)

We Are Scientists (Boy's science mates from various institutions)

Super Furry Animals (leftovers from boy's science mates, my science girls and mutual university friends, all Welsh and rugby fans)

Love Cats (my cool indie ish mates and cousins)

Immigrant (S)ong (the really contrived name that didn't quite fit; all my Irish family, mostly immigrants to the UK).

So bands or song titles that allude to appropriate collectives!

We're having the word Love in a different language for each table e.g.

Amore

Cariad

L’amour

Liebe

Cinta

Laska

and so on...... ❤️

We're having table names as chick flicks and playing each theme tune through out the day.

bridesmaids = pretty women so will walk into the cremony to the theme tune pretty women walking down the street....

one for me & dad thought my girl ?

one for me & OH walking back out as man and wife and a couple when signing the registar etc

our first dance is Faith Hill There you'll be so top table is Pearl Harbour my all time favourite film.

got to make a list of chick flicks the theme songs and see what can fit into the day (10 tables to find names for)

Different fantasy classes ... what? Okay I'll explain, we play A LOT of fantasy games, board games, table top games and video games. So going with the theme they'll be:

Knight, wizard, archer (or ranger), Cleric, druid, Mage, rogue (or thief)

This is one of the numerous ideas being thrown around at the time. Our ideas change with the winds, come from being an pair of artists! whatever we decide I'll be drawing it, he'll be creating it.

My FH is really into genealogy, so our table names will be the places where we and our ancestors got married, the top table being us. We're thinking about whether it's practical to have a short bio with each- e.g. John Smith and Jane Jones got married in Exampleville on 2 January 1985 and a wedding photo.
