I don't know! OH has booked as a surprise and I won't find out until we get to the airport.

However, I do have some clues.

    1. It is over 10 hours to get there and involves changing planes

    2. If I pack as I did for our holiday last year to Malaysia (week in KL, week in Borneo) I will have packed everything I need

    3. We may possibly need malaria tablets (although this could be something to throw me off the scent)

I am so excited that in 8 weeks time I will be on holiday. Desperately need one. The fact that a wedding comes before it and it is a honeymoon is obviously lovely, but HOLIDAY!!!!!! Woo hoo.

If you're anything like us, you've probably never been to about 90% of the UK - we've never been to Ireland, the Channel Island, hardly touched Scotland or the north of England, North Wales, and it's been years since holidays to Cornwall or South Wales, so there's more than enough places we can go and things we can do without travelling the world.

Ok, the weather may not be so reliable, and you might not get the 'all inclusive' packages you do get abroad... but so what? Admittedly, the overseas trips do look fantastic and I'm sure for many it's a once in a lifetime experience to make the most of it... but the most important thing about the honeymoon is each other's company, and spending time settling in to your new ilfe together (although for most people who live together for years, I guess the appeal of this is a lot less) as far as I'm concerned, not the location.

The hotel we're staying in is very reasonable I think... £390 for 3 nights (including breakfast and dinner) in a 4 star spa hotel Our whole 4 night MM is costing just over £500 total (well plus pocket money) ?
