The 'We Don't Want Snow' Thread

I am whole heartedly in this camp. I hate the stuff.

I heart snow!!

I'll join you on that one!! I hate snow, I hate driving in snow. It is treacherous trying to get to work in the snow as they never grit my road and I have to reverse uphill to get off my drive, I nearly wrote my car off last year in it. And work expect us to get there no matter what, our car park is so bad that we had to dig our cars out to try and get home as they don't grit that either. And yet people are sitting here getting excited that snow is forecast ?

Mr Moo, who loves snow, wants me to buy him a sledge type thing when I go to work. If you see on the news that a man has died after having a sledge type thing shoved up his bum you'll know it's us....

We better feckin not get it. Evil stuff. We have made it to february, nearly home and hosed. Come on Mother nature dont fall at the last fence dearest...

I'm with you on this one, I really don't want it to snow!! I personally like snow and even managed to get a couple of days off work last year because of it but OH drives all day for a living so it scares me when it snows.

No way, Cornwall can't cope with snow.

i hate the stuff - when I was 7 I slipped over on the black ice under the snow and broke my right arm, since then I have a passion for really hating it.

also its my anniversary weekend I demand to be able to go out for dinner with no snow!!

I'm supposed to be flying out to France for skiing tomorrow. Loads of snow there - great - but please please don't snow at Gatwick before my flight, because we all know they can't cope and it'll get cancelled...

I love it when it snows! but it's a bit of a pain that the country's transport system isn't able to cope with it.

I'm happy for it to snow, but not so heavily that the roads and airports and rail links can't be kept open.

I hate it.

BUT: if it snows so much that the office closes, then I'm happy.

Defnitely do not want. We're having a window moved in the bedroom, and will be significantly harder to do if we're in a blizzard.

I don't really mind the snow on the weekend when I can stay snug in my house, but it better not be there on Monday!

I hate snow! I live really close to work, so have no excuse not to go in if it snows. Last year OH had to work daft shifts because nobody else could get in. We need to move!

It's pretty to look at from the warmth of your house.. But not good when you have to leave the house!

I don't want snow! It started to snow yesterday here and lasted all of 60 seconds thank god.

The frost is bad enough, does my head in getting into a freezing cold car at 6:45am!!

I hate snow if I have to go out in it but it is pretty (at the start until it turns to brown mush)

With me being due to pick up H from the airport 300 miles away in this coming week, and after not seeing him for 130 days if it snows, and I cannot get down to him/his plane cannot land them I will not be responsible for my actions!

For this reason alone, i hope that it doesn't snow in your area and the surround 300 - 400 miles!

It's not so much the snow - but the aftermath of ice that I absolutely dread.

I live in a cul-de-sac and we don't get gritted, so it's either get the car out and hope I can get to the end of the road or get the bus - which I won't do if there are school kids on (little ****s!). H walkws to work so no excuse if it snows, he has to go in and run the office.

I also hate snow. We rarely get it here thankfully but when we do the whole place grinds to a standstill, very frustrating!

Another no snow vote here too. I love the stuff when I'm in my nice warm house, but when it comes to driving anywhere, no thank you very much!
