Hi mine might be a little boring i wanted disney princesses but i was reminded i was 24 and too old lol , but now i think i would maybe have charactors from "the Tudors" or maybe famous books , my hubby had an idea of making a list of "our" songs , songs that remind us of our relationship as table names x

We were going to have places that we had visited together with photos but we ended up with more tables than places!!

So we had destinations on our honeymoon (we also had a honeymoon gift list so thought it would be nice for our guests to see where they were helping us to go!)

Kuramathi, Colombo, Polonnaruwa, Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Habarana, Kandy, Dambulla & Nuwara Eliya

    Loving these!

I googled earlier and came across the idea of having "i love you" in different languages. I thought maybe we could theme it around places we've visited on hol / are visiting on honeymoon but some are really weird and think they could confuse people!

    Keep them coming.....

We met at uni so we're having names of all the places that mean things to us from there; our halls of residence, the lecture theatre where we sat next to each other, our favourite nightclub! Half the guests are friends from uni too so hopefully it will be a talking point.

Some of these ideas are so creative.

I went to a wedding Saturday where they had places they are visiting on honeymoon and it was a real talking point so that's whats inspired me to stray from "1,2,3...." !!

Anniepie - Thats really nice... we've discussed having old movies but thats more my thing than his. I like the idea of our favourite places, favourite films, and fave movie couples. Think we're gonna go with the last!

We're having hills in the Lake District. We went on our 1st hol to the Lakes, where I accidentally said I love you for the first time, we got engaged there, etc. We actually got engaged on a Cumbrian beach but OH said there was no way he was sitting on Silecroft! We've got some of the obvious hills (Scarfell, etc.) but we've had fun sitting people on Old Man, First Crinkle and all my horsey mates will be on Stirrup Crag. The only disappointing thing is my parents wouldn't let us put some uni mates on Great Cockup!

We are having the names of our favourite places in Cornwall. We go on holiday there every year.

So far, we have Sennen Cove (where H2B proposed) St Ives, Perranporth, Helston..... and we are hoping to add some more next year when we go.
