Turning red while walking down Aisle?? Also Help me find Shoe decor?

kiiradee, 14 October, 2011 at 09:56 Posted on Planning 0 11

Hey everyone and in particular people that are married , i was wondering if anyone suffers or is worried with turning red walking down the aisle? , i turn beatroot red when i speak in large groups or when lots of people are staring at me, my face turns red and also chest goes blotchy. It doesnt last long but i was wondering if anyone had any tips? i do not want to be red in the photographs. Smiley sad.. only 3 weeks and a bit to go im starting to think of all these things lol.

Also i have some black lace shoes (had a nightmare finding some i liked that were wide enough for my stupid feet) and i want to find some red poppy or red rock n roll style bows to go over the buckle part or top of shoe to decorate them, any ideas?. heres the shoes.

Would shoe clips like this work for you ? -

As for turning red i wouldn't worry too much. When i got married i could only concentrate on the end of the asile and my husband to be and hardly noticed ay of the guests.

WSS. I go red when I'm just the slightest bit warm, and wine also has the same effect, so I bought some green foundation base for my wedding day and it's amazing. I just put some tinted moisturiser on top, and I now use it every time I go out for dinner. Mine comes as a stick, it was only a couple of quid - Boots's Natural Collection, I think.

I go red a lot too, and use a green base under my normal foundation. The only thing is I'm not sure how it photographs as I've heard some people say that it can show through sometimes. Maybe a make up HIB will pop by who can advise on this...

I personally wouldn't recommend the No7 primers - They smell horrible and are a bit watery with poor coverage. I've only tried the purple one though, but I imagine the green will be similar. At the moment I'm using a Clinique one (think its called Redness Solutions Base or something like that) which is good and seems to work ok. Although the best by far would be Smashbox primers - Pricey but they are amazing.

My New Hubby Smiley surprise) suffers with this and it happens with alcohol as well and as you said it doesn't last long and then it doesn't happen again, so he had a couple of drinks before hand got the reddness out of his system and he was fine during the service didn't go red at all.. xx

In all my time of photographing weddings I've never seen a blushing bride, they probably were, it just never showed in the photos or from a distance.
