Wedding Dress Hoops??

Broody_wife, 13 June, 2010 at 11:59 Posted on Planning 0 10

Hey Girlies, I tried on a singles tiered hoop with my wedding dress... Does anyone know where I can get one??

My dress shop don't hire them, they sell them for £75.

I'm going to try my dress on without a hoop next time but incase I do need one, Where did you all get yours if you need one??

I bought mine off ebay for about £10 delivered. Does exactly the same job! My bridal shop wanted to hire me one for £50 then £5 for any day after the 2 free days you get! I'm away for 2 weeks, and need to collect a week before that, and then would have to take it back on the weekend so would need it for 4 weeks! Costing £180! Silly!

I got mine on ebay. The shop is theimpressionbridal i think and it was £20 or something! heres one of their other ones... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170439004414QQcategoryZ98745

It hasnt got a hoop in it but has layers of tulle! the silky layer under also stops the itchy leg thing! The only thing is that its a kinda rope tie on it. mu mums taking it out and putting elastic in it, thats easy sorted tho!!

I got mine from Aliya Rose but you can borrow mine if you want? It's a stretch band one so fits really well (i hated the drawstring ones) and is one hoop with netting over the hoop so the ring of the hoop wasn't seen. x

Lyns I may have to borrow if thats ok?? Then i have two somethings borrowed!! lol

I'm not 100% sure i need one, because if I remember correctly the day I fell in love with my dress I didn't have a hoop on, but then I did all 4 times after! lol

So will try on again without a hoop, and see whats better before deciding!!

Course that's ok. Why not get mine and try it on with and without because all hoops are different. I loved my hoop as it gave me space under all the layers otherwise the dress did my head in getting trapped between my legs and I hattttted the feel of the netting stuff. x
