wedding dresses on ebay

I bought my dress from Ebay. I too fell in love with my dress (over £800) in a bridal shop and found a replica from China on ebay for £89 including postage. Sent off my measurements and it took about a month form then until i had it.

It's lovely and i'm very happy, it's just at the dressmakers having a few more sequins sewn on as it wasn't as sparkly as i wanted! Apart from that, i had no problems but i would urge you to read through the sellers feedback before ordering.

My seller was jin.dress88. My sister-in-law also bought her dress from ebay from a different seller and hers is lovely too. HTH

What about trying to find the same dress on ebay, but second hand? That's what i did! My dress is Coco by Maggie Sottero and is £950 in the shops, but i got it for £200 on ebay. It's so beautiful and has no marks on it at all, apart from under the train which you'd expect. But, as the girl who owned it before was 5 foot 9 and i'm only 5 foot 2, those marks will all be cut off when i have it shortened! I'm soooo chuffed with my bargain ❤️

Be careful when you buy from china as if it is too small or wrong colour or not what you ordered then they will not accept them back and do not give refunds as i bought 5 vm dresses off them n it happened to me people are differnt but just be careful! x

Hi - I would go with the sellers that people have recommended, but I would be wary of buying from china if they didn't have alot of feedback. If they have a high positive feedback, then you could maybe contact a couple of the people that have bought from them and ask what they thought x

Have a look at Landy Bridal (landbridal.com - also known as asapbay on ebay). I got mine from there and ❤️ it!! So happy.

Light in the Box also gets good reviews.

I got mine from yourbridalwear.com, and so has SteelGoddess. It was beautiful, eveyone commented on it on the day thinking it cost me hundreds from a bridal shop. I would go with someone who you have heard positive feedback from as some people have had bad experiences, but I would fully recommend yourbridalwear.

Yes i have my dress and i love it! its fab!!

I ended up getting my dress from the shop in the end i chose a maggie sorreto i tryed it on and had to have to it was still in our budget so i just went for it,so no ebay or yourbridal for me,like i thought i would x

Got my dress eventually, and I hate it, its a terrible fit and was supposed to be made to measure,not to well made either, gutted..... but i have been to a bridal shop since and bought a beautiful wedding dress in a sale for £50 reduced from £400 so I am more than happy now, I think you really need to try wedding dresses on before buying.

In my expierence the quality is not comapriable but they look good so if you don't mind that they go ahead.

I think its quite safe if you pay with PayPal on Ebay. If the quality is not up to standard then you can get a full refund through PayPal.

Steelgoddess, are yourbridalwear based in the UK or China? i couldn't really see a location for them and I have spotted that they do the Maggie dress i tried on, loved but it was out of my price range then and i's about a fifth of the price on the website !!

i got my dress from ebay china, and cant rave about the quality enough, its fantastic, its a mori lee 2010 copy, just seen it in the wedding mag, and its perfect, i got it from seller adorefinery and it took 45 days to be made and delivered

i would email some of the other buyers who have left feedback, i got replies from texas and australia to name a few and they where so helpful, and choose a power seller or one with more than a couple of hundred feedback, they seem to be quite open to suggestions to, i got a free matching shrug,

Moonpig, how long did your dress take to come?? I plan on ordering my BM dresses from them but can't do it till mid June....
