Hi All Sorry this report is rubbish
It's pretty long and i find it so hard to explain so if you'd rather just scroll down & look at the pictures then i dont mind! :-D
The Big Day!
I set my alarm for 7am but woke at 6:50am after getting a text from one of my bridesmaids Charlotte “Hello Bride! I’m so excited!!! Can I come round now?! Hell, I might just rock up in my dressing gown & slippers!! I have champagne!!” I think she was more excited about been a bridesmaid than I was been a bride! People still can’t get over just how calm & relaxed I was throughout the days prior to the wedding! I even slept straight through from going to bed at 11pm the night before the wedding! I decided to get straight up & head for the shower but mum had already beaten me to it so instead I remembered I hadn’t ironed my shirt that I was wearing whilst getting ready so I quickly popped downstairs and started ironing. I heard my mum come down the stairs and as soon as she saw me she said “Samantha! What are you doing ironing on your wedding day?! You should be running around pulling your hair out I can’t believe how calm you are!!!” At just gone 7am I jumped in the shower & within half an hour Charlotte was knocking at the door.
We all sat around drinking tea/coffee until 8:15 when Polly Jensen, hair & makeup artist arrived, I have to say, My BM Charlotte used to work for Clinique and she had a reasonable amount of makeup she’d collected over the months she worked for them but even Charlotte was impressed with the amount of makeup she had! Polly dragged in a huge suit case full of everything makeup and almost every brand known to man! I was first with hair rollers in, followed by Charlotte. Sharon, my other bridesmaid wasn’t due till 9am so Polly decided to do Charlottes makeup whilst she waited for Sharon. At 9:15am Sharon came with my mums hairdresser, and we left mum & her hairdresser in peace while Polly started on Sharon’s hair.
Flowers arrived at 10:30am, they were absolutely beautiful! Just as I dreamed, BM’s bouquets were so modern & elegant which I knew would stand out in there teal dresses. I almost cried when I saw the box full of flowers I just felt so overwhelmed with how perfect they were. OH’s had a few diamantes nestled in the large avalanche rose.
