If you let me know what you are looking for I might be able to recommend somewhere.

    Hi Brian

We are looking for a venue that has a relaxed feel to it! We not sure if we ant a sit down or buffet style wedding. There will be no more than 110 guests to the main part then another 30 on top of that for the evening.

    I'm in Kent too ?

We're getting married here, in Rochester: https://www.coolingcastlebarn.com/

Others I would say that may be worth a look are:

    Rowhill Grange, Wilmington: https://www.alexanderhotels.co.uk/rowhill/

    Bickley Manor: http://www.bickleymanor.co.uk/

    Bromley Court Hotel: http://www.bw-bromleycourthotel.co.uk/

    Oakwood House, Maidstone: http://www.oakwoodhouse-kcc.com/

    London Golf Club: https://londongolf.co.uk/

    Hall Place, Bexley: http://www.hallplace.com/

If I think of any more I'll add - hope that helps!

Also meant to say try English Heritage as they have lots of places in the South East where you can get married e.g. Rangers House, Eltham Palace, Walmer Castle etc.

Also it's definitely worth looking on this site, it's really good for venues and reminded me of loads I'd forgotten: https://www.weddingvenues.com/civil-wedding-Kent-0.html

On that first page alone I would already say Hever Castle is beautiful, which is near Edenbridge, and also Brandshatch Hotel is lovely too - not been to any of the others. Check it out though, I'm sure it will help you even if you just request a few brochures initially.

Ah kent is a little way from me and so I'm not so familiar with venues up that way, although I am heading up for a wedding tomorrow in Kits Coty Brasserie in Aylesford.

We are also getting married at www.little-silver.co.uk in in Tenterden Kent. The website photos just does not do the venue any justice!!!

The venue is gorgeous, and the owners are out of this world!!
