my 'go-to" food when I am slobbish is what I call 'snoodles'. This is chicken super noodles, with mayo, cheese and spring onion stirred in. Best if served with baked beans and a slice of bread on the side. Not had it for a few years, but been craving it lately.

I used to eat chocolate and cheese on chips ? I'm no sure how it started, but I was addicted. Makes my stomach churn just thinking about it now, though.

I used to babysit for 3 kids that would always have jam and cheese on toast when they came in from school. I always thought they were loopy, and so, therefore are you Nancy Smiley smile

    Winning ?

I used to eat rice with ketchup, rice with beans, rice with spaghetti hoops ... pretty much anything. Rice and gravy is great, though. They have that in the KFCs in the Philippines. It's going to be the staple dish of our honeymoon.

Did anyone else used to eat Twix in a strange way? I used to bite off the ends, eat away the chocolate carefully, roll the caramel into a ball and then eat the biscuit. I am disgusting ?

When I have scrambled egg on toast I have to have marmite on my toast or I can't eat it. My mum introduced me to this years ago but whenever I've mentioned it people look at me weird!

No but I would bite both ends and suck my hot tea through it like a straw, what a gooey delight it was. I also do it with kit kats!

I thought I had a strong stomach, a love of all things edible and an inquisitive mind. Evidently not.

I used to sneak in to the fridge for butter in the middle of the night when I was younger, until the day my dad put a toy frog in the fridge and I screamed the house down. Apparently I used to be terrified of them, which is strange because I now have a mild butter/margarine phobia. I don't think anything I eat is too strange, although I get some funny looks when I eat cold sweetcorn from the tin....

Sometimes I do if I'm trying to stretch the mince a bit further. I don't think it's weird though?

Me too. Room temperature leftovers are the best. How I have got this far in life without getting food poisoning from it I'll never know!

I am definitely a leftovers geek. I LOVE leftovers especially if its from one of my mum's roast dinners. Room temp leftover roast potatoes are YUM especially when dipped in room temp gravy, I also love cold yorkie pud. Sometimes I make a sandwich with the yorkie pudding, roasties and gravy then have it with a massive helping of ketchup ? my ultimate nasty food is: Sharwoods egg noodles mixed with melted butter and baked beans..I also like cold baked beans from the tin, processed peas from the tin and sweetcorn from the tin - mannnnn I am disgusting!

I dont think these are weird enough but:

Pasta with cheese and butter (preferably shells so that the cheese melts into them)

    Chips with cheese and gravy

    Digestive biscuit with butter on

Tangy cheese dorritos, onion, ketchup and cheese

Tomato soup (Heinz of course) with a crumbled Jacobs cracker and a sprinkling of cheese

Most people think all of the above is a bit odd but in comparison to the things I have seen in this thread they are perfectly normal!!!

I love a mashed banana on toast for brekkie - my mum used to make us banana sandwiches when I was young so this is a total childhood hangover. As is the crusty end of a whole loaf covered in butter. My sister and I used to fight over this privilege so our loaves always had both ends cut off.

I really like liver, kidneys etc and used to eat malt extract out of the jar for a major salt fix. My babysitter once had to hide the marmite when she found me ramming fingerfuls of the stuff into my gob behind a curtain.

My other food fetish is anything burnt - I deliberately let my toast burn and I pick the burnt overspill off fish pies etc. I don't know when it started but I love a bit of carcinogens. BBQs are my favourite kind of burnt food.

I am the total opposite, I hate anything remotely burnt and leave the crispy chips, the brown chips and stand by the toaster so I can keep popping it up to make sure its only slightly brown..
