I have brought my bridesamaids handmade crystal twisted necklaces from oriental pearl. They were £7 reduced from £38. They are gorgeous and i wish i had one for myself! Im sure they had been priced up in correctly as they were a bargain!!!!

I got them engraved silver mirror compacts (from 24Studio), voucher for afternoon tea at New Forest hotel, and I made them freshwater pearl necklaces and earrings.

Doubling up jewellery as their present and what they wear on the day is always a good idea. If you need any suggestions, please give me a shout!

I bought my bm a bag and make her a jewellery set which she can wear any time so I didn't use the wedding colours in the designs. x

I've bought mine beautiful necklaces (i got myself one too) from etsy(someone flashed the maker I believe they're orchard flowers with a pearl - sorry can't remember who! - maybe Mrs C?). They're not for them to wear on the day just something pretty for them to keep. I got different necklaces to suit their different styles.

I've been thinking of either Lovelinks or Pandora charms or a Tiffany charm. My sister (MOH) has both so I can add to this but my soon to be SIL (BM) hasn't, so I could start this of for her.

I've seen a lovely Lovelinks charm which is an envelope that opens up and inside is a tablet which says 'for my bridesmaid' on it, just a real shame they don't do one which says 'for my matron of honour' ? If I do get these I will inscribe the date on the back and some other little note.

So far I bought one a small box and piece of everyday jewelry when I was in India.

I don't like giving stuff to use the day of as a gift as I think it's more self serving then a gift to the bridesmaid.

I am thinking of getting my sister/ MOH a ticket to visit me in London, we are American and she hasn't been yet.

I am going for the traditional idea of jewellery but with a bit of a twist! I am currently going on a weekly jewellery making course and I am making my bridesmaids a necklace and probably some ear rings for them to wear on the day. I like this idea because it is really personal as I have made everything myself. I am making a solid silver necklace which curls around their neck and then goes down into a sort of pendant (so there is a gap for it to go on in the front.) It's a bit like this ...
but I have hammered it to make it a bit textured. I was really impressed as it has cost me £26 per necklace for something that is solid 925 silver. Bargain!!! I'm enjoying making the stuff too. I am going to make a necklace that is similar but not quite the same for me so that it matches. Not sure how mine will be different yet though!

    So far they have:

OHs mom came home with a Models own make up kit the other day that she picked up for 50p from her job so I asked her to get me 4 more - going to make up a little gift bag with bits in.

Have ordered some white paper gift bags from Ebay and going to make some matching personalised giftbags for each person.

They're keeping their outfits. We bought the dresses and shoes on the high street, so they're wearable styles that they like. They have some jewellery too which they'll open on the day.

Im giving them their jewellry, shoes and headbands to go with their dress for their presents

Was also thinking of buying them something cheeky like matching undies...

Is it cheap to give them their jewelry and things to wear on the day as their present??

I'm getting them all jewellery sets and then haven't made my mind up yet what else but so far, for one of them, I've got the 'my beautiful bridesmaid' journal from oh so cherished
