What exercise do you do

My physio has suggested that i try the physio's pilates session, which i'm really excited about, i used to do gymnastics and had a go at yoga, just wondered if anyone else does pilates and did it make any difference, muscle tone, weight wise etc

    Gonna get a dvd of it?? Ive never done it im afraid.....

    the only exercise i get is walking around my house and work, awful!

    Hiya

    I also do physio pilates. I had done pilates for about 4years before moving and then did nothing at all... and then did my back in !

    Pilates really helps with core stability, flexibility and posture. I don't think it's made much difference weight wise but it certainly helps my back and does tone

    I've done both yoga and pilates and I noticed a difference with both of them. Yoga I found to be quite serious, but that could have been down to the place I went to and the group I was in. With pilates, we had a really fun teacher and I probably enjoyed it more because of that. I definitely noticed that my arms were more toned and I had much more flexibility. My balance was better too!

    ETA unfortunately, it didn't do anything weight wise for me.

    I used to do Zumba, Yoga, Pilates and Body Combat, but unfortunately now everything in this country is so much more expensive I had to knock the gym on the head.....I think the most I manage now is climbing the stairs! ?

    I used to do yoga when I was younger and always used to fall asleep at the end when we did the final relaxation bit ?

    Just now I go to bootcamp training three times a week, well I say I go - I have been there since last September and am taking a month off and then will be returniong to it in June ?

    Thanks for the replys, i used to be quite fit but stopped everything when i had max, and it was that that actually was the start of my back problems as i lost core strength (apparemtly), really wish i'd kept it up now Smiley sad
