I really want red but my bridesmaids will be wearing dusky pink so don't want a clash. Really need to have a think about this as it goes.

I saw this in a magazine recently and it looked absolutely stunning. Very very effective.

We are having hot pink and cadbury purple.

I was having a rainbow originally - each BM a different colour, each table a corresponding colour etc etc, but it became a mountain of a task, so we decided against it Smiley sad

Coral and White. Coral bridesmaid dresses and ties for the men...pretty much everything else will be white.

I'm taking inspiration from what I hope my flowers will be- white roses with accents of purple flowers (freesias? not sure), with plenty of foliage. So purple, foliage green, and white (and in a metallic silver because my engagement ring is white gold). My fiance's wearing a kilt (he's not Scottish so he can choose what he likes), he's quite happy to wear a green one, so I suspect I'll be putting my bridesmaid in hunter green (although purple and silver are backup colours if we don't find what we like in green). Maybe purple sashes on the chair covers and a green cloth over the tablecloths.
